Yes, this is one of my favourite episodes too! That ending scene of Chuck singing 'Fare Thee Well', amazing! And yes Rob Benedict is a VERY good singer. He has been in a band for about 25 years and his band plays the Supernatural conventions in the US and supports Jensen's band whenever he plays. I can send you a link to discord if you like. There's a live version of this song from the convention's Saturday Night Special on their album. Curtis did an amazing job in this episode as Metatron. After everything he's done, it made us love him or like him!

Chuck told Metatron 'you'll never guess where this amulet has been this whole time'. Then he said 'I should put this away'. Then it appears in Sam's pocket. The inference being that Sam has been carrying the amulet that symbolised the brothers' love for each other around ever since Dean dumped it in the bin at the end of 5x16 Dark Side of the Moon out of hopeless frustration at God's non-intervention - the episode ended after Dean and Cas left the room, leaving Sam alone in the room with the bin. Sam has faith, and God has finally chosen to reward that faith. - I think I read somewhere that part of the reason Rob Benedict was later cast in Lucifer is so that God from Supernatural could do the same thing on that show that God from Lucifer had done earlier that season. Remember when you put 'Oh my god' at the top of last episode? Only off by 1. - The writers (some) are aware of how stupid killing Charlie was. But don't call them Shurley.

When Chuck says he started a new book series Revolution, that is another Series from Eric Kripke that endet after only 2 Seasons.

That song Chuck sang at the end was beautiful and a bit foreboding. I always wondered if the plan the whole time was to have Chuck as God or what. I know fans always theorized that Chuck was God after he just disappeared after the season 5 finale and we got more prophets without seeing Chuck die. “Bugs is one of the episodes of all time.” 🤣 facts!

Like I said, if he said (I know Bugs and Bloodlines are too far apart), if he said Bloodlines, I would've laughed more than I did with the Las Vegas episode of Modern Family

I think even they realize the less said about Bloodlines, the better lol

I'm very behind on all my reactors because my dad passed away a few weeks ago and I'm the only one of five who doesn't work, so I handled everything. Not to mention travelling from N Carolina to Ohio for the funeral. Then hubby and I got sick after we got back last week. That being said, this IS my 2nd favorite episode of all. Mostly because of Rob & Curtis's performances. Both of them were amazing, and yes, we never thought it would be MetaDouche to get through to Chuck. And I love the version of 'Fare Thee Well' he sings here; much more than the original. Yes, Rob knew by the end of S5 that Kripke planned on making him God. However, while he did't have plans to bring the character back, then Rob had a massive stroke during S7 (at an SPN convention no less), so he was unavailable for several years.
