Purple Nurple

I love seeing Rob and Ruth in this... who would have thought after being at cons together and then finally acting opposite each other that they'd be engaged and have a kid together... Supernatural loves match making people.

'God is dead. God remains dead, and we have killed him. Who will wipe this blood off us? What festivals of atonement, what sacred games shall we have to INVENT?!' - Friedrich Nietzsche, 1882/Chidi Anagonye, 2018 - 'In the end, I'll reap him too. Oh, yes, God will die too, Dean' - Death, 2010

I don't even think it was because of the lack of archangels. Like sure, she could've been weakened more, but she had already given up. She was going to just let God kill her, but once she realized he was trapping her again, she lost it. I think it was purely the fear of going back to that cage, and the determination to avoid it, that allowed her to fight back. Also, their conversation really makes you question how "evil" she really is. Especially at the end where she's like "It didn't have to be like this, I loved you, brother" -- implying he could've created the world with her there, followed by "Go ahead. Kill me". And she could've destroyed the world by now, but she only killed people to get his attention (not saying that makes it right, but she doesn't kill for fun like demons even). She did also tell Dean before the first angel smiting that her problem was with God, "not his creation". Of course, now she's insanely mad and wants him to suffer and die, along with the world. Anyway, can't wait for you to react to the finale, overall this/finale are among my favorites.

Don't worry, Donatello's not dead. Amara just took his soul, but we'll see him again.
