What are the chances? I paused an episode of Dark Angel to watch this reaction, and there was Jennifer Blanc as the blonde stripper. Parker is such a GOOD person ❤️ My note for V catchin' Tim in the act of ransacking Mars Investigation was... "FOYLED". And then you said it when she outed him as the killer at the end 😂 You forgot the OG Lorelai Gilmore... Trix. Wallace probably likes Korn and Velour Tracksuits too 😉 As I said, Foyle being the killer was obvious from the moment he walked on screen. And then it just got more and more obvious from there, he was visibly annoyed when Landry kept praising Veronica... and then he put her on the path to learning about the affair (by claiming she plagiarized a paper), which he needed for the death of Cyrus that he intended to pin on Landry (because of the Pepperdine situation). And even had massive freak out on Bonnie at the frat party in Spit & Eggs right before Cyrus wound up dead in his office (that Veronica witnessed). And of course, he knew that they'd probably look at the Lillith House ladies (the "serial killer murder board" that V pointed out) before moving on to another suspect. Everything was pointing to him from the get go 🤪

Veronica and Tim going into overthinking mode about Papa's cabin, finishing each other's sentences only for Keith to jump in as he had figured it out instead 😂 The way Tim was able to frame the situation in a way both Mindy and Landry thought the other was responsible was interesting to see and really complicated the investigation with making it unclear who (if either of them) is lying. Too bad it ended with such a tragedy for them. I like the confrontation scene in front of the classroom - it's a completely different vibe from how the other arcs ended as for once Veronica doesn't end up in a dangerous tense situation but it's satisfying to see her reveal Tim is the killer in front of the entire class. That would be an interesting lesson to witness for the rest of the class... Though fitting for a criminology class, I suppose.

Was it Tim, though? I mean... yeah, he kept making things more complicated. But it was Keith and Veronica that refused to believe Mindy and Hank who insisted upon their innocence. Until Keith "cracked" Mindy and she turned on Hank, who then turned on her. This could just be my problem with the season as a whole, but it felt like yet another instance where our usually whipsmart Mars' screwed up. And a few of characters died (Cyrus, Lamb, Botando and Mindy), a generally speaking innocent man (Hank) will now go to prison. And Foyle gets to be smug about it all. I'm not saying you're wrong, just that... I don't think it was all Tim 😊

Oh yeah, I defintiely agree it wasn't all Tim's doing - there were a lot of coincidences and luck involved. Tim might have planted the seeds to frame Hank initially and strike at a time he knew Mindy and Hank could potentially be suspicious of each other but there were absolutely a lot of other factors that contributed to the domino effect and the ultimate reason they turned on each other was defintiely Keith, even if they had some suspicious (they'd be willing to cover up) earlier. Rereading my comment, I realized I'm not too happy with how I worded some things so thanks for pointing it out. The way I worded it makes it sound like I'm giving Tim more credit than he deserves, but I primarily meant to express that I found the atmosphere of confusion interesting. Mars' definitely screwed up in this instance but I personally don't mind the fact that they did as there have always been situations where Keith or Veronica didn't immediately come to the right conclusion. I agree that it would've made sense for them to question and investiage the situation more from another angle though, especially considering the main plot of season 1 was them trying to figure out who actually killed Lilly even though Abel Koontz was already in prison for it. I agree that it's horrible how many unnecessary victims came of the situation and it's absolutely annoying to think about the fact that Tim still gets to feel smug about successfully ruining Hank's life despite being caught in the end. It's definitely not a satisfying conclusion from that point of view, as Veronica herself points out. I definitely understand your feelings for season 3 though. There are things I like in it but I would absolutely say it comes nowhere near the first two.

Looking back at everything, the writing was on the wall. Plus, his name was Foyle. As in, Veronica would be a foyle in his plans. It seems a Hideo Kojima way of spelling the obvious to us tbh xD
