They had me in the first scene with my Queen. I love the psychological thriller aspect of Reese. But I do like it wasn't just about Reese, the Carter flashbacks were probably real and we got a glimpse of rookie Carter and Turney being her boss was a cool extra that depends the whole HR thing. Fusco coming in clutch once again. I love Finch's reactions to Roots identities. The Reese and Carter of it all makes it one of my favorite episodes.

One of the best episodes of the entire show. One of the biggest (and best) hint that all of this was in John's mind was that (almost) all flash-backs are introduced with the Machine's timeline, but this time it was always a fade-in/out. I love how you noticed very early that something was "off". John is not particularly my favorite character, and despite this episode being mostly Reese-centric, it never fails to make me tear up, and it's in my top 5 episodes of the show for sure. Person of Interest is such a gem.
