Sorry for the delay, I went to publish this alongside Runaway Jury but obviously, it did not indeed publish the reaction onto the page.

I'm not a big fan of the concept of sheriffs' elections. We have democracy so that the people can choose who makes the laws, but choosing who enforces them seems to miss the point - whoever does it should follow the law, like Keith did before this episode. I think this is part of why, in this country, the turnout for police and crime commissioner elections over the last 10 years since their introduction has been down at around 15% compared to 55-70% in general elections, and why the government has now committed to abolishing them. As Rex Banner once said, it's not up to us what laws we want to obey. Or at least it shouldn't be.

It really feels like going full circle from beginning of season 1. Asides from the return of Kanes and Veronica's reputation getting a hit again there is also Keith most likely about to lose the sheriff position again. Veronica singing "bad day" is such a perfect moment 😂 And Logan doesn't care about how "connected connected" that guy is, he is getting what he deserves 😅 I think it would have been much smarter if Veronica just told Keith what happened. I do get why she didn't want to do it but I feel like a large part of the fallout could have been avoided if she did (which I guess was the whole point here). Still seeing Keith trusting and caring for Veronica so much that he was willing to ruin his career and reputation despite not having the full story was a good moment. By the time I watched the show for the first time, season 4 and movie were already out but imagining that for a long time this was the series finale I had a bit of mixed feelings about the episode when I watched it for the first time. A lot of great moments in it but it's such an open ending with so many unanswered questions... I'll always wonder about the "what-if" alternate universe in which Veronica Mars didn't originally end at this point. It's great that we got the movie and another season eventually but it'd be interesting to see how the show would have turned out if it continued normally after season 3.

It's always delightful when KBell gets to sing... and 'Bad Day' by Daniel Powter was a perfect choice. Eli helpin' V torture the Hearst pervs ('cause he loooooooves her) 😍 Wallace and Mac helpin' out was GOOD ('cause they got severely shortchanged in screen time this season) ❤️ LEO 🥰 Jake doesn't know LOTR and yet he did a SPOT ON Gollum impression. HEY, CW! Also, Lilly and Donut portraits!! Like you said, I do appreciate the full circle-ness of these last two episodes. Do we consider the Yale Skull & Bones mention our last Gilmore Girls reference? I bet you liked Logan being involved in the Life And Death Brigade AKA their own made up little off-shoot of Skull & Bones 😜 I don't know, I kinda think Piz had that beatdown coming (although, I do agree with him that V is cute when she surveils). I mean, he was trying to woo Veronica away from Logan from the moment they met. And that's just shady AF... to me 🤪 "Yeah, someday" 🥹 Gosh, I do hope you watched the S4 presentation BEFORE the movie like I said. It's hard to tell based on the way you spoke about it here
