HA! You were really fooled by that Dick Jr. scene in that made up Josh Duhamel movie. It's somewhat amusing that he followed Aaron Echolls into super stardom (but we know he didn't have the business mind like Cassidy and Dick Sr.) 🍿 🎬 What Clyde (J.K. Simmons) is doin' to Dick Sr. is just KARMA. Scamming the scammer! 😂 I mean, the systems are set up in a way to force people into a lifetime of debt. It's fitting that Penn created the Murderheads; 'cause Patton's wife Michelle ran a True Crime site (before her untimely death in 2016) and helped solve the real-life Golden State Killer case 🥹 "Classic Logan" is why Veronica broke up with him. It's both toxic and very her... to suddenly want that version of him back. And poor babyboy is trying to better himself in therapy with Jane (because he wants to be better person... and also, so he doesn't lose V again) 💔 Also, the Navy has made Logan a much more skilled fighter... which got him a closer to home job with the Maloof's. While the Carr's are horribly racist, Amalia Maloof is absolutely classist (she loathes them because they are poor)... classic Neptune BS! LIAM! The Fitzpatrick's are like the Salamanca's (Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul), they're unhinged but I love to see them. Matty stumbling into Alpha Jolly Amusements is just like Veronica stumbling into the River Styx in 'Ahoy, Matey's' (Logan saved Veronica with a gun, and Veronica saved Matty with a gun) 🍀

It's fitting that Penn created the Murderheads; 'cause Patton's wife Michelle ran a True Crime site (before her untimely death in 2016) and helped solve the real-life Golden State Killer case 🥹 Ohhh. So I finished S4 already. This does seem like a great homage

I mean, yeah... Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul are BRILLIANT! It's wild you haven't been forced to watch them yet 😂 Rob emailed Patton to make sure he would be OK with the storyline, and he was... he just wanted the other Murderheads to be good people (like Michelle was) ❤️

I'm the one who put Breaking Bad on your pilot poll. Shame it hasn't got more votes yet, because I totally agree with everything above. There's only one show of the many I've seen that I rate as highly as Breaking Bad, and you've already reacted to it - something about a vampire slayer. Better Call Saul is excellent as well, as one would expect a prequel by the same writer and starring an already recurring character to be. Sidenote: this episode is the first time I realised that Isobel from iZombie, young Kara from Supergirl, and Charlotte from The 100 are all played by the same person. I knew I'd seen her before somewhere, but I didn't realise it was in 3 places.

That intro scene really ends up going in a completely different direction than expected 😂 It would have been an interesting twist to see Dick grow up to be an undercover cop but him being an actor makes more sense for sure. "Do you think they'll ever find out who murdered Lilly Kane?" Well, Penn is clearly three seasons behind on this show. Veronica should have known from experience that one shouldn't underestimate a 16 year old. 😅 She now gets to experience what a teenager who gets herself in trouble by being a detective is like from the adult's point of view.
