Ed Green

An unforgettable episode. Amazing acting by Jensen. Really heartfelt.

This is def one of my favorite episodes, especially for a "monster of the week". A lot of fun, but also sad, and cool plot. Liked getting some backstory about Rowena. Speaking of, we owe her much more than a "small one", Sam! She may have wanted that book, but she still saved Dean's life, and actually legitimately risked herself here. The sticky notes were funny as hell but ultimately saved the day lol. Also loved the interactions between her and Dean. "Your hair is so bouncy!". The "killer" comment threw me off, but then once she mentioned the greater good / how he helps people, vs the thing she's done that she seems to genuinely regret, I got what she was trying to say. But I think we've already seen a change in her since Chuck/Amara. When she was first introduced, I honestly hated her character, but she slowly became one of my favorites.

This was appropos of how dementia affects all parties. The ebb and flo of remembering and forgetting. That scene in front of the mirror was amazing acting. Love the 'Broomstick Cowboy' by Bobby Goldsboro as well.
