I don’t know if you know, but there are two VM novels that take place between the movie and season 4. These are considered cannon, and the tension between Veronica and Weevil is a pretty big plot point in one of them. So even though it’s brushed upon here, it makes a lot more sense when you’re familiar with the details. The erosion of that friendship is one of my two biggest disappointments with the last season.

Yeah, Chief Langdon is a QUEEN! I appreciate that Cliff has ALWAYS looked out for Neptune's sex workers NOAH! V's twins story is HI-larious! 😂 "You and me... we were close once" BREAKS MY HEART! Eli has only ever loved Lilly AND Veronica (and wanted her to be safe). And the way she treats him here is... ATROCIOUS! Veronica thinks she lost EVERYTHING when Keith was ousted as Sheriff. But she didn't... she still had her dad, a home and their P.I. business. Celeste Kane took ALL of that from Eli, so yeah... he went back to what he knew. And then took a deal to provide for Jade and Valentina, instead of waiting years for the justice system to do anything about it. "I cannot deal with Therapy Logan right now" JFC, V! Just let him grow as a person! He's NOT wrong about her being stuck in this unhappiness bubble of hers. However, I would likely stick my head in an oven too... if we lost Keith and Logan. So, while that part is completely understandable... the rest of her BS isn't. Which brings me to the way she treats Keith as well, based on all the "evidence" Nicole is just as dodgy lookin' as Clyde. And for Veronica to insist that Keith is wrong to also question Nicole... is ludicrous. It's either both or neither. Not one or the other. And feels just a tad bit like she's gaslighting him (which cannot help with his current mental struggles). Owen is Wallace and Mac smooshed together 😜 THE TAKE A KNEE LINE (American Politics has taken an even crazier turn since that debacle) Vinnie basically got BLOWED UP and he was still workin' the case. THAT'S COMMITMENT, FOLKS!
