You know what I just realised, if I had a nickel for every time we said goodbye in some capacity to Enrico's character on my channel this week, I'd have two nickels.

Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it's happened twice. ANYWAYS...

The last ever Veronica Mars

I pretend that it ends after the wedding. I agree, hated this ending, not just because I'm a Logan and Veronica fan, but because they felt that the only way to end the series was to retraumatize Veronica instead of growing her character.

It's interesting because S3 ended on Veronica once again being unpopular, her dad in a kerfuffle as sheriff (albeit ACTING sheriff) and it was like back at the beginning again. But this is way worse </3

I can't believe it's the end already... I really enjoyed watching your reactions to the show! I'll happily join in pretending this episode ends after the wedding... My comment on the ending is usually that despite Logan being one of my favourite characters in this show I'm probably more frustrated by the way his death was handled than by the fact that they killed him off. Although, that might be partially because I was accidentally spoiled that he dies right before I started watching season 4, so by the time I reached this point I was prepared for it to happen but had no idea how it would happen and that it would be so rushed. If it was done well, I think I would have an easier time accepting this ending; I just think that such a major character deserves more than randomly being killed off in the last minutes of the show and then immediately jumping to a year later before the viewers can even process what happened without getting into the direct aftermath of it at all? And like you said, it also feels really preventable, which adds another frustrating layer to it. I get that Veronica Mars has never been a "happily ever after" type of show, but I believe there could ways to show that things are far from perfect even if Veronica is happily married... I wish we would have seen at least something from Dick about everything that happened in this episode too. I mean, he just lost his father and one of his closest friends back to back. As annoying as he usually is, the few times season 3 delved into the emotional side of things with were really good moments (or maybe just hit harder because they are the opposite of what his character usually is).

What show will be replacing this?

liamcatterson

Alias is starting up next week. That and Leverage will be overwriting those shows

Dang, i was hoping Dexter would end up as a show you watch. Especially with the revivals coming out it has a huge increase in popularity which might even get you more views on youtube. (Plus its like my all time favorite show lol)

From Pluto

This is what Big Dick ALWAYS deserved... a beheading! "Bye Dick" So, what you're saying is that Phantom Dennis moved to Neptune after Cordelia "ascended" 😜 Cho's receipts from... 2004! Of course, we have to honor the year we began our Neptune cases. We briefly got sweet Parker back, who after a divorce is on her way to a better life. Plus Jake and Clemmons... at Kane High (to be clear, he inherited that secret society... didn't create it, which isn't much better but still). And more or less an end to the Class War that was mentioned way back in the beginning (the poor can no longer survive in Neptune) Clyde talks about getting a job at Cinnabon, another fun Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul reference (Saul finds himself working for Cinnabon after much the same story as Clyde's). Also, Keith and Clyde's friendship ended just like Veronica and Nicole's did (The Mars' inability to trust still ruins relationships) 🍩 JANE! You mentioned in S3 that you thought Logan would die by sacrificing himself for Veronica, and in a way he does... he's just unaware of it. Veronica was supposed to move her car, multiple times this season, and so it is left to Logan to do it. No need for you to strangle him 😬 "Years, Continents, Bloodshed" LoVe did years, and continents.... it's time for bloodshed. I've been a sobbing mess after dozens and dozens of fictional character deaths (most of them from the Whedonverse), but only TWO have made my brain malfunction; Wash and Logan. You took his death A LOT better than I did, or most of the fandom (who decided that this season NEVER happened. even though it is a great season like you said) for that matter. I have since made my peace with it, like I did with Serenity (it still hurts and I still look away from the screen in both cases). I believe that Logan died a Mars (as they joked about together), and that gives me a tiny bit of solace. THEY WERE HIS FAMILY... UNTIL THE END (and beyond) 😭 "Don't have children, Veronica" Well, now she can't. Thanks, Wallace. Our boy, and his voice messages (did you end up going back to hear the one for the movie?)... "Is it weird to want to marry someone because you respect her? Because you want to be like her? Because you want children who will inherit her qualities? I want to marry Veronica 'cause she's the toughest human being I've ever met. Blows that would destroy most people... she always picks herself back up" 🥹 I imagine someone in the comments explained what S5 was meant to be so I won't. But it's been a fun journey, Liam. Marshmallows4EVA!

Your comment reminded me of something I forgot to add to mine - in my head Logan absolutely took the name of Logan Mars when they got married. It just makes so much sense for him to decide to change his surname and Veronica to keep hers.
