This episode fired on all cylinders and bombs. The Finch/Elias dynamic has always been so interesting, and I think Elias was right, Finch brought Elias knowing damn well he'd do something. It's Elias we're talking about. It took 99 episodes for Fusco to get his yellow box, and it warmed my soul. Root pulling the gun out is exactly what I'd expect her to do, but I understand Shaw being shaken up. It's ironic Root said she wasn't really a believer, when she's been the truest believer of The Machine.

You know what I love most about the Shoot reunion ? Shaw was flabbergasted by Root turning the gun on herself as well, that means it did not happen in a single one of the simulations. "Damn it Root !" Basically Samaritan *could not* comprehend nor reproduce Root's level of insanity. PS : Fusco finally has his yellow box as well !

That last shot of the Team standing together... under the backdrop of the Queensboro bridge... as we first saw in the Pilot with Finch & Reese... facing what's to come together. Always gives me chills. An iconic moment.

Haha, yeah, as emotional and serious as the gun scene was, it did give me a moment of "really? This is unexpected of ROOT?", it totally fits as her predictable response for us lol
