One could say there was a hole in the world, the day before went away... And some of us should've known. RIP to our two season 1 villains who went out as absolute team members. I could listen to Michael Emerson monologue all show. That speech was AMAZING. Tbh, I always thought Fusco knew it was more than critical condition but wanted to verify himself. The face he made over her body was heart breaking. The Machine picking Roots voice I think was the absolute right choice. But, I get what you're saying about Root/Shoot and that's actually been a discussion for years. I find this one appropriate and much deeper than just shock value given, at least for me, Root held the Machine in it's highest regard, even more than Shaw. But I do get the ship and know it sucks in that aspect. It was kinda weird Reese didn't have too much to do for the 100th.

Wenn this episode first aired, I think I cried for a good hour about Root's fate. I was seeing all of the death flags, but I still had a vain hope cause... Well she's the goddamn best.

OMG, that part about Fusco knowing already but refusing to say anything till he saw himself ..... I can actually see that, in the amount he hesitated when talking to Shaw and Reese!
