Still hurting over Root, but... I love the idea that satellite B-teams have formed. Wonderful way to bring back Joey (Amy Acker's husband), Logan (who I just adore), and Harper.

If I think about "how do they stay off Samaritans radar?" too much, I dislike the idea of another team lol. But on the surface it was really cool. Leon, Zoe and Caleb would actually be my first round draft picks, but the ones we got are great too. Zoe may be too A Team Adjacent. "RIP Cocoa Puffs" --- Lionel Fusco. Finch threatening the guard about his daughters heart was terrifying and I loved it.

From the moment that Root brought her unhinged rogue self to play with Team Machine... I absolutely adored her. But - before Shaw came along - I imagined that her character would eventually have to die to achieve redemption. All of that assassinating people for money. But then there was Shoot... and it really made me want that "maybe, someday". Even though I knew it wasn't the road that any of them were on. I mean, in the Pilot episode... Finch told Reese that they probably wouldn't survive this pursuit. And I knew that was always a likely fact with this show. But man, my heart. Shaw, especially, breaks my heart. The loss is etched on her. The writers/showrunners said that if not for the reduced season... there would have been more time for Root & Shaw after their reunion. But maybe that would've just hurt more. I can't fault POI though... always delivering emotional weight in such visceral ways. Always challenging our perspectives. Always so nuanced and consequential. I'm so glad that you fell in love with this show!
