Remember how Game of Thrones season 8 episode 2, the last episode of Game of Thrones widely thought of as good, was titled 'A Knight of The Seven Kingdoms'? Remember how Tyrion toasted Brienne with that title, after Jaime in the name of the Warrior charged her to be brave, in the name of the Mother charged her to protect the innocent? This is why the theme tune truly belongs here. The glory is not in the quest for the Iron Throne. The glory is in the protection of the realm, in the truth of what knighthood and good stewardship are supposed to stand for. - Around 95 years earlier, when the Blackwood boy auditioned for Rhaenyra's hand in marriage, the teen who insulted him and ended up being killed by him in a duel as she left the room was a Bracken. Not my favourite house, personally. - Baelor, like his 5-or-so-generations-ago relative Viserys, is an honourable man, who cares about the people of his kingdom. And he also seems quite a bit wiser.
