This was a really fun episode. I loved Eliots cooking and knife lesson and Nate's "sermon" "marriage isn't running through Paris, it's pushing a cart around Home Depot." 😂. Those dresses were absolutely atrocious.

So much money and those were the dresses they went for...

Money can't buy taste 🤣

I find myself in agreement with you -- this episode is just so much fun. Several of my laugh-out-loud moments from the whole series are here: - Hardison coaching Eliot through downloading files... and then it's cassettes. - Our first inkling of super-chef Eliot; "it's the lemon juice." - Introduction of the two FBI guys.

As a former banquet and line cook, I found Elliot extremely relatable in this episode. Yes, the scene where Heather insults his food, but especially the bit where they tell him that the Butcher is here and he, in single-minded focus, is like "Great, I need the lamb!" When you get down into the crunch time on large parties, that is exactly how that mindset works. Also, I just have to acknowledge Christian Kane's ability with kitchen knifework. I think everyone who's spent time working in specific fields will have those little things that always jump out as being slightly off when seeing it onscreen. One of my things is that type of knifework, and Leverage was one of the first times I remember really noticing that an actor clearly knew what they doing.

One scene that's pretty confusing in broadcast order… Elliot admits that he thought about settling down once, but isn't ready to open up to the team about his past. In broadcast order, we already met that girl.
