I'm sad you're at the end but I'm glad you had so much fun with it! I watch it every few years or so all in one sitting, for a long time it wasn't available streaming anywhere besides YouTube and that was shitty quality upload lol. I'm just happy to have someone to watch it with now! so whenever i do my next rewatch of it I'll probably just watch your reactions! I love how represented gingers are, a few royal gingers in this show 😆 Tony's sword reminds me of the athame from charmed, I probably would've picked that one too. Loved the swamp part, and you know what I would totally believe and not be surprised to see talking mushrooms in any fairly tale or fantasy setting haha it makes sense. But i also don't think I'd trust a damn thing in this whole magic world lol. I love Wolf running in slow-mo all hero like. And their little playful romp in the forest is hilarious. Tony throwing the toad has also been memed so much "WHAT DOES THAT ACHIEVE??!!" is so good 😂 like he's had enough of this crazy fairy tale place. Virginia has been through so much. It's not clearly enough stated but Christine is bipolar and had a manic episode when she tried to drown Virginia, it's so sad she never got help and then was taken in by the evil queen who just made it worse. For me, whenever I watch shows\movies like this where its a separate world\realm from earth and the main characters want to go back I'm always like WHY?? I would stay in the magic world lmao I don't wanna go back to earth (especially as someone from the US ugh). So when Tony stayed I was like yep that's the smart choice lol but I like to think he or Virginia and Wolf travel back and forth and Wendell keeps the mirror very safe for them. I love Wendell's transformation from spoiled brat prince to being humbled by being a dog. Scott Cohen is my fave as Wolf, he did an incredible job balancing the animal and human, and wasn't afraid of being over the top with it. I love that at the beginning of the show Virginia says she loves to cook and needs to find a man who loves food, who better than him haha. I really wish we could've gotten a sequel, but with the sequel book being published soon I'm hoping maybe they'll make a sequel show! the book is going to revolve around Virgina and Wolfs daughter so that should be interesting. I'm definitely going to read it, especially because its being written by the creator\screenwriter of the 10th kingdom! But again I'm glad you enjoyed, it can be very silly and very campy\whimsical but that's what makes it great. Nowadays I feel like people don't want to make fun\whimsical shows anymore, they want cool and badass and deep crazy stories, damnit sometimes we just need the silliness!!
