MortalCity

This is another episode straight off their "actual real life villains" wall, though they were careful not to say who. For my money, there's a decent chance the CEO here was partly inspired by Stewart Parnell, who helped cover up a really bad salmonella outbreak in late 2008 - early 2009. At least nine people died and another 700+ were ill enough for it to be reported (though numbers were believed to be much higher). A tiny bit of justice, said CEO and two other execs went to jail over it in 2015 after a very drawn-out court case and their company collapsed. (there were unfortunately several other bad food company-related salmonella outbreaks in the years preceding this episode so they had a lot to draw from)

CK actually injured himself during those stunts in the elevator - smacked his head on the CEO-in-a-Box and ended up needing 17 stitches. When you see him wearing a bandana around his forehead in the episodes surrounding this one, that's why. This did not stop him from continuing to do his own stunts as often as they allowed him to.
