I totally get what you mean when you said the anticipation from this episode to episode 8 feels different than last season. Maybe because last season we were meeting Rosie and having Vaggie be trained? It felt more uplifting, like maybe they can make it through this. But, especially with the song at the end ending with Sera's lament, it really gives this somber tone. I think we all were screaming at Lucifer at the beginning. 😆 He's adorable but he's so oblivious to his surroundings 😵‍💫. But his interaction with Alastor and how mad it made Vox that the two of them weren't paying attention to him will always make me laugh. Seeing the character's human lives is one of my favorite things about the show. Its really fun to see their sinner form and then try to think about what it is that led them to looking like that in hell. Oh! If you're interested, there's an alternate version of Vox's song Brighter on the soundtrack that has a more 80s vibe to it. If you look up "Brighter 80s Demo" on youtube it should pop up. It'll be Sam Haft singing it though since its the demo. He's half of the Living Tombstone duo that are responsible for all of the songs from both Hazbin and Helluva. The songs this episode are sooo good! I LOVE Sir Pentious' song with Sera! If Lucifer wasn't already my favorite character Sir Pentious would certainly be my fav. He's just trying to do his best and be the better person Charlie told him he could be and that's just so wholesome. 🥹 Looking forward to your next reaction!!
