One of the great things that Leverage does is make sure that every season finale felt complete, just in case they didn’t get renewed. This one is a little ambiguous, but we still get some major payoff. Nate finally admits he’s a thief and FINALLY kisses Sophie. If I had to pick a favorite season…..either 1 or 4. Like, Season 1 is amazing. This show is so original and has one of the best pilot episodes I’ve ever seen, and it’s so much fun even rewatching to get to know the characters and watch them work out the kinks in their team dynamic. I always tell people, I’ll be surprised if they don’t love it after the first episode, but I will NOT believe them if they don’t love it after The Mile High Job. But Season 4 is the best in a completely different way because things are so familiar and settled in now, the writers really get a freedom to play that they haven’t had before, and it pays off in some really amazing capsule episodes and deeper character development.
