I’ve given up on getting full context from the subtitles on weverse lives 😭 Now I usually just watch the streams while I do work and then watch clips on cortis translation pages from twitter. Thank you for posting your reactions to these!

48:20 In my opinion, I feel like it’s an attractive quality if a man is comfortable enough in his masculinity to be able to do things like wear nail paint, wear makeup, or get his hair done. I just feel like it’s definitely respectable, and I find it personally attractive. I don’t know, it depends on like your style stuff, but I definitely do think that it’s very attractive. I don’t find it as some kind of “ick” or as like the man isn’t attractive or anything like that. I really like it, and I really appreciate it when men are able to express themselves the way that they want without being judged. 🙂

Exactly and like maybe some edits also

I agree with your opinion. To add upon this but in the context of CORTIS, I do appreciate that boys as young as CORTIS are comfortable with more traditionally feminine things like painting their nails. It shows that young kids don't have to conform to traditional stereotypes related to their gender and that they can be interested in more feminine stuff while maintaining their masculinity. This is why I am glad that the boys enjoy doing girl group dances and that they sometimes wear clothing brands targeted towards women because they aren't restricted by gender norms to express themselves. They also listen to a lot of queer artists and music as well, which is why I'm very proud of these little bros.

Yes, I agree, especially because I’m around their age. A lot of boys who are 15, 16, or 17 have grown up with this kind of toxic masculinity where they feel like they have to worry about how they present themselves, out of fear of being bullied or looked at weird or differently. It’s so nice to see boys who are sure of themselves and able to do things like this. Being in high school and seeing so many boys treated the way they are just because of how they like to express themselves is honestly so frustrating to watch. I’m really glad to see that some of them feel comfortable being who they are.

Honestly same!! theres something really attractive about a guy being confident enough to express himself however he wants, whether thats getting nails done or anything else.
