Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed it. Cheers sounds better in korean tbh, idk why they chose to translate it like that in the subtitles. The song is about how they become successful even though people predicted they would fail. When they first debuted Pledis was a small company and they didn’t have the resources those bigger companies had. Back then kpop’s big 3 companies were YG (bigbang’s company), JYP, SM entertainments. So everyone said groups from other companies wouldn’t last long. Their dance practice room was in the basement and it wasn’t that spacious. Basically it was a poor company. Hence the lyrics “they said we would crash and burn, they dont know” and “we built a building from our basement” meaning they built the company with their success. Later with Seventeen’s success Pledis became a big company. People and their fans saw how talented they are and they made good music so they become one of public’s favorites with several of their hit songs. And eventually seventeen and pledis become basically super rich and doing so well. And then years later HYBE acquired pledis and now they’re under hybe family. Btw now kpop has 4 big agencies: HYBE, SM, JYP and YG.

I love Fear! It's impossible to rank SVT songs though.
