lmao it's pronounced "Oh! Are You Late, Too?" but it's an abbreviated version of that phrase ^^

You have heard some of these songs through the Rise of Bangtan Doc.

The "Cypher" series serves as a defiant response to haters and critics. Because RM and Suga started in the underground scene, they faced intense backlash from "purists" in South Korea who accused them of selling out by becoming K-pop idols. The Cyphers were their way of proving that being an "idol" didn't make them any less skilled as rappers. There are 4 songs in the cypher series, and I really hope their upcoming album will include a track in a similar style. After nearly 4 years of hiatus, the group has faced renewed criticism and intense media scrutiny. One of the biggest controversies involved Sugaโ€™s minor accident in August 2024 in Seoul. He rode an electric scooter after drinking, fell while parking near his home, and no one was injured nor was any property damaged. He admitted to violating traffic laws and publicly apologized, taking full responsibility. While he took full responsibility, the gap between the actual events and the media's portrayal was significant. Parts of the South Korean media portrayed the incident in an exaggerated way, framing it as if he had committed a far more serious crime. Some Korean media outlets (K-media) initially released false CCTV footage that claimed to show him speeding on a busy road, which was later debunked as being a different person entirely. Despite it being a summary offense typically settled with a fine (15 million won), the media subjected him to a "photo line" (public shaming) and published over 270,000 articles, many of which were speculative or based on unverified leaks. Recently, it seems like heโ€™s completely fed up with the media. After BTS resumed their activities, he noticeably started ignoring reporters at the airport. He would walk straight at the very front, calmly cutting through the crowd of media without stopping or reacting to them. He didnโ€™t look at the cameras, didnโ€™t answer questions, and didnโ€™t acknowledge the reporters at all. He just walked forward confidently, and honestly, no one even dared to touch him lol๐Ÿ˜† Iโ€™m honestly very proud of him๐Ÿ˜ญ
