-Park Bo-young (the lady Daesung is interested in) hasn't appeared in ZIP DAESUNG yet haha, but instead a 2nd gen idol who used to have a huge crush on Daesung did appear and the whole episode felt like a blind date session lol xD -The meme question "Which of the following thinkers argued that nothing is eternal" is a reference to GD's song "Crooked", which starts with the line "Nothing is eternal" haha -EP.29 (the part where they showcased the old BIGBANG stuff) received some backlash because some fans were really angry that they censored TOP's face. We don't know if this was done in consideration of TOP's wishes (since he's been asking people to stop associating him with the group) or just arbitrary by the production team, but regardless of that, up until a few years ago TOP's face was censored in Korean media after he announced his departure from the group. The media only started talking about him again/uncensored his appearances with BIGBANG after his appearance in Squid Games S2. -"Still Life" is a song that VIPs love but can never put it on our playlist because it gets us so emotional all the time... It's our first and only OT4 song, and many of us were worried that they were going to disband after releasing it. I still remember I was a crying mess the first time I watched the MV because it reminded me of the time we almost lost TOP to his self-exit attempt, and seeing him in the video just broke me haha -The ZIP DAESUNG pose was not officially created until the episode with TXT I believe! There is this preconception that idols must remain "pure", aka no love talk or doing anything that gives them a bad image (like smoking, for example), so new gen idols (or rather, idols who are just starting out in their careers) cannot talk about anything remotely related to their own romantic relationships. It doesn't really affect the older gen idols now since their fanbase has matured with them and have gotten married, have kids, etc. and to be honest it would also be pretty ridiculous to expect these older idols to not talk about romance and expect them to stay single their whole lives. So technically BIGBANG went through the same thing when they first debuted as part of 2nd gen kpop, but people were more tolerant of them talking about relationships or being photographed at clubs while smoking/drinking during their active years, maybe because they were just very well-liked by the general public and never really fit into the kpop mold. I don't know about now, but Koreans used to consider them as a hiphop group or just artists/singers (not idols), and so long as you're not associated heavily with an "idol image" you are mostly free to do whatever you want.

I don't think gossip is even a big deal for them. After two huge scandals, they can still make all Koreans listen to their new songs. their solo career also helpful,GD is the most popular male solo artists, DAESUNG and TAEYANG also have hit songs. The thing if it happens in other group, it's basically completely destroyed.

Can you react to this performance of GD https://youtu.be/hz2CFHrJhoU?si=YlZdM1KFvC-d9p8k It has CL in it too (the girl from the bigbang anniversary video that they teased). This is from 2016 award show. Btw they’re not saying the b word its the korean word that means ‘shining’ anyway its a good performance i just remembered about it. Pls add this to your music reaction video

BigBang fans have definitely become more chill over the years, especially because the members have grown up and the fans themselves have matured too since a good population of BigBang fans are older people. But I think another reason why they are so open about speaking about girls and stuff like that, might arguably be because of their former label 'YG Entertainment'. We can all agree the YG isn't exactly the best company but they definitely know how to push the boundaries, especially once all the members of the group is of age to start dating (not that love has an age or whatever, just for safety precautions). Even with the other YG boy groups such as Ikon who had a show in 2018 called 'Ikon High school' where they went on a "field trip" to Japan, and they stayed there engaging with another Jpop girl group (not sure what they're name was) and overall just having fun with the girl, and the fandom really didn't care that much, It was rather funny seeing them trying to hook up and flirt with the girls from time to time. And then in 2022 YG dropped another show called Shinning Solo which was basically like a dating show for it's boy group 'Treasure' (one of my favourite 4th gen boy groups btw). They were being coupled and evaluated by girls just like a regular dating show. and overall it was a super fun watch and I can confidently say that no one really had a problem with it. Although we were kinda surprised by it, but definitely not against it, We all enjoyed seeing our boys engage more with the opposite gender although it'll sometimes get awkward. Idk about the other YG groups and if they've had similar shows too but those are the two that I liked because I stan those groups.
