1:13 “Annyeong” is a casual greeting in Korean—it can mean both “hi” and “bye” ‹“Annyeonghaseyo” means the same thing, but it’s the polite/formal version. In Korean, there’s a clear distinction between casual speech and polite speech. Casual speech is used with close friends or family, while polite speech is generally used in more formal situations, with people you’ve just met, or when speaking to elders. These guys usually use polite speech when talking to fans, but when it comes to greetings, they seem to keep it casual. Also, it was actually the first time they ever did a live with just the two maknaes, and it was so funny 😭 When Juhoon was there, a fan asked him which of the two was the more reliable younger member, and they both got really tense, hoping he’d choose them lol. But the moment he left, they immediately started trash-talking him 😂

Welcome back Senior! I also really like that they brought back the “to be continued” format cause it gives fans something to look forward too instead of randomly dropping vlogs (especially since fans have been wanting to see James play hockey for a while). It also seems like the boys have been filming a lot of content for other shows (Eunchae’s Star Diary, School Attack, and 1N2D), probably as promotion for their upcoming EP, so get hyped! Someone mentioned it in the Patreon group chat, but CORTIS will be performing at Lollapalooza this year! (If you don’t know what Lolla is, it’s a big music festival that is hosted in different locations, but CORTIS will be performing at the Chicago one). I am planning on going to Lollapalooza this year all 4 days, so if anybody here is planning to go as well, let me know cause I would love to meet more COERs (plus the friends I’m going with don’t listen to kpop, so I don’t have anybody to see CORTIS’ stage with 😭)

Thank u senior and to answer ur question u had seen the 360⁰ video before, since this tokyo video is so old like 4 months ago, and the next one that James is playing hockey is gonna be from like more than 2 months ago also. I think u can noticed by their hair, like Martins and also from James hair is all black and short now for a while, and in this video and in the hockey video u can see that it still a bit longer than now and the dye still there and now a days James hair is black and super short

They didnt say that word during the song idk why in the subtitle the uploader tried and even wrote the lyrics wrong like that but it misleads. If you listen them and look at them they didnt say it. I feel like the channel owner doesnt know both korean and english that well. Because this video’s subtitles were so bad even the simple stuff was wrong. For example keonho asked seonghyeon “acai or coer” seonghyeon said “ofc coer” but the subtitle was like “(T/N: idk what they said here)” so it makes me think they dont know korean well because it was simple and easy to hear. Still better than auto subtitle but just keep in mind that its still not good

Yes that melody you recognized is overdrive by TWS and they finally did the challenge with them and they were talking about it during this live but the subtitle didnt translate that part correctly. When you asked who’s dohoon they were talking about the challenge. https://youtube.com/shorts/CKatID0BYZI?si=2iIAHKZj4n-viGtc And they released 3 min behind the scenes too: https://youtu.be/kBDRufljHHk?si=4vb5DyMZyW5DMxHI When cortis makes challenges with other groups, they do both groups’ challenges but everyone share their own song’s one. So when a kpop group meets other kpop groups and makes challanges, they film 2. One song from each team. And share seperately on their channels. So you might’ve missed some videos like this. Because cortis is in the video but its not on cortis’ channel.

Real! The subtitles in this one weren’t really accurate for some parts. I can understand a bit of Korean and some of the simplest things were being mistranslated. I think the channel uses an AI translator and doesn’t translate it directly so a lot of context is missing during some parts. I’ve noticed that it’s not great at detecting pronouns, names, and English words 😭
