OVAYA -If Studio54 is the farewell song, OVAYA is the song where he's drawing the line once and for all 🥲 -OVAYA has two meanings: first literally meaning "it's over", and second is a word play where Koreans sometimes use "ova-ya" when they think someone has gone overboard in certain situations. In this case, it could be telling fans not to go overboard (i.e to respect his boundaries). -As you can tell from their variety shows, TOP has always been very introverted compared to the other guys, so I really respect him for putting his foot down in this album. I think he once mentioned that he will only get in touch with the other guys again when he feels less guilty about himself, so hopefully that day comes soon 🥹 Honestly I don't need him to come back to the group, I just hope that he can reconnect with them in their private lives because it would be so sad for them to break off all contact when they have been with each other for nearly half their lives over such a ridiculous scandal and a bunch of haters who just want to bring people down for no reason. Zero-Coke IMO this song is mainly used as an interlude in the album for the listener to reset their mood after OVAYA (which was depressing as hell lol). But I think there's two main interpretations of the song: -It expresses him ascending to space or quite literally "another dimension" in his music. -This song expresses his cry for help during his mental struggles because the music and lyrics sound very fantastical and he keeps mentioning objects like "dazzling mirror balls" and "unicorn" (as if he's hallucinating), and even at the end he was calling for help ("I need somebody" / "I really need somebody"), and the song abruptly ends as if he blacked out, which leads to the next track starting with a heartbeat sound (like he's at the hospital with a heart rate monitor). ADHD -Personally I didn't like this track at first. But after multiple listens to the album, this is my top 1 track for sure because it's wacky af and it's the track that shows TOP's approach to music and the overall message of the album 😆 -A lot of people also thought that the vocals of the 2nd half of the song was GD lol, but some people tried removing the sound effects on the vocals and confirmed that it is TOP's voice. 😅 Seoul Chaos -This song got me hooked on the first listen! It feels so dark and heavy but also very liberating for some reason. -As I mentioned in the previous post, the moon keeps appearing in his lyrics as he has been very interested in the moon and space. He also sees the moon as his persona and a symbol of isolation and self-reflection because unlike the sun or stars, the moon does not emit light, but reflects it instead. (: I'm not too sure but I think his interest in the moon was only made known to the fans in Still Life, and later confirmed when his interview clip for the DearMoon space project was released 🤔 I still remember me and my friends were confused as hell when we saw that clip, like what do you mean this man's going to the moon out of nowhere LOL but at the same time it's such a TOP thing to do 🤣
