1:40:43 "Red Devils" is a term we mostly use during the World Cup season. It basically refers to Koreans cheering for the national team. The nickname itself actually goes back much further, but it became famous around the world during the 2002 World Cup, when the Korean national team made an incredible run to the semifinals after beating several strong European teams. Even today, Koreans talk about the "2002 World Cup" all the time and many people still feel nostalgic about it. Back then, millions of people filled the streets wearing red to support the national team, and that's why the image of the "Red Devils" became so iconic. It's World Cup season again (the 2026 World Cup co-hosted by the U.S., Canada, and Mexico), and Korea has qualified for this World Cup too, so this content was filmed to cheer on the national team haha. cortis actually appeared in a World Cup cheering video too! You can spot them from the 0:26 mark here:

Like you said we eat bread as a main food but in Korea bread is usually sweet which is probably why Juhoon called it a 'snack.' Because its sweet it doesn't really feel like a proper meal to him so he might not get full from it🤷🏻‍♀️

So how it works is, when a kpop group makes a comeback (releases a new album) they promote it on TV music shows for 2-3 weeks usually. There are a few music shows and they do performances on each one. Winning in all those shows in those 3 weeks is rare. Cortis won all of them which is what they call a grand slam and it’s rare. Cortis promoted title track TNT and then went on for a few other weeks to promote YCC and ACAI and the title track tnt won during that time too. They didn’t win any during first album promotions so this is their first time winning and they won this many. When james was talking about ‘among all the groups who made a comeback at the same time around as cortis, they are the only ones left’ he means other groups did 3 weeks promo and then stopped while cortis continued to go on the shows with ACAI. But during that time there were also other groups who made a comeback freshly so they weren’t alone. He was emphasizing that it took too long for them.

It's 11 wins🏆 in total, even though they mentioned 10 in the videos (M Countdown 3/Music Bank 1/Music Core 3/Inkigayo 3/Show Champion 1). And yep, their music show promotions are now over. The boys are preparing for their 3rd EP, Lollapalooza, and the 'PUT YOUR PHONE DOWN' tour now. The lady who shouted 'youngkuekue' is quite famous in Korea. Like if you randomly watch any Korean TV variety shows, you will definitely see her somehow. Talking about variety shows makes me really want to see the boys go on an overnight trip together. Like renting a vacation home for 2-3 days, having a driving team go out to get fresh fish at the market, and another team setting things up at the house. If they were all over 20, I would hope to see this kind of outdoor content. There are so many chill and peaceful natural spots to travel out of the city in Korea.
