I was having a bad day and this made my day. I’ll answer some of your questions and give some info: - the mv’s you’ve reacted to before ‘yeah yeah’ and ‘moya’ were part of this album. The last 2 wasnt. - yes that’s the guy who did a collab with megan the stallion. Ryul’s verse actually makes a shoutout to that.41:52 he says a line that sounds like ‘watashi wa star’ line of that song. Yuki chiba is a japanese rapper and both jaypark and ryul had japanese in their verses. So it was japanese, korean, english mixed. - Louis’s name pronounced loui without the s, he is half french. - yes the 4shomix ones are remixes of some already existing songs. I’ll update that playlist and add some new things for future lngshot reactions and the original the purge. It’s by H1GHR rappers. - Ryul was a rapper before he became an idol. He was casted on Show Me The Money 11 by More Vision (jay park’s label and he is a judge and producer of this show called SMTM11) and later was in the rap competition show called Rap:public. He is the first non-black rapper who’s signed to Roc Nation. And he had collabbed with some really big western names. He has another new label called MORE VISION which is the company Lngshot is under. Jay park is the ceo. He first started as a b-boy and then rap. His label name represents his b-boy crew called Art Of Movement (AOM). His singing voice is also so good. He is very loved by the korean hiphop artists because he helped a lot of them in the past. For example he had featured in a lot of artists’ songs and even upcoming small artists songs to give them exposure and didn’t take any appearance fee for writing a verse and featuring on their songs. Normally having jay park feature on a song is expensive since he’s so famous. Apparently it’s around 200 songs that he didn’t accept any money. I saw one of those artists express how grateful they are and the song they made with jay park is their biggest charting song. He has an eye for talent and he put so many people on the map. Another legendary story of the k-hiphop community that people talk about is that how jay park paid LOCO’s (a famous korean rapper who won SMTM1) 200k$ debt to his old agency so that Loco could continue on with his career. Loco didn’t have money to pay it at the time so jay park helped him. And then he signed him to AOMG. PH-1 (another famous rapper) said when asked who he is thankful for besides his parents he said jay park and said jaypark gave him a chance to succeed. There is another recent one that come to mind is that there is this really famous korean rapper called Sik-K, on his new album he dedicated a whole part of a song and used the lyrics: “ You can’t scratch my legacy or heritage Just bring your homage in front of me Return it to Jay Park We don’t bow to anyone but Jay Park We never outshine him Once family, always family We’re still ready to run together We succeed together, then party after Feels like that’s how it’ll always be” and after this lyrics he included an audio from one of jay park’s interviews where he says this: “And I thought, you know I should give some new friends a chance Like, ‘Let’s start another label’ Helping these guys, lifting them up like this That’s how we all succeed together That’s how we grow the scene together Fame and money, all of that can disappear in an instant I just want to be remembered As someone who had a positive impact and gave inspiration” Here’s a short tiktok (it also has youngji remember how i showed you a video of her on SMTM) https://vt.tiktok.com/ZSxbsgJWR/ The background song of this tiktok is the song that i quoted above. He did the dance cover with a couple of his friends from his class in case you wanna check it out too: https://youtu.be/ruXM9CuF6ek?si=qQBzq5xWpqaKxgPV Woojin and Louis are the only members who still go to school because Ohyul and Ryul have already graduated, but they all go/went to the same school. Woojin is a senior though, and he did the dance cover as his last assignment for the year for that specific department. Now you might be wondering why he has to do a dance assignment for school... Well, their school's name is "Hanlim" and it's basically a school for future and current idols, actor and actresses, models, artists etc... (basically kids who want to do creative jobs when their older). So dancing is one of the departments that a student in Hanlim could pick and so that's what the cover was for. In the first episode of their variety show, 4SHOBOSHOW, it was Louis' first day at Hanlim and you'll notice when you watch it that the school isn't too strict on how their students style their uniform or their hair colours because this school enforces creativity amongst their students. And because there are a lot of idols in the school, they also don't mind people filming and vloging at the school (they probably do need permission though). Sunoo, Jay, and Jungwon from Enhypen were also Hanlim students too back in the day.
