Chapter 122 (Patreon)

I've been trying to think of more posts to put on patreon, I've really been hustling trying to keep up with everything but I keep almost falling behind because of my parents and other things that come up. I can't even tell myself "Season is over soon!!" because I don't think it'll be over for quite a bit xD

Anyway, this chapter is very meaningful to me! We finally, finally, FINALLY, close the door on the story of Scarlet's sin. I wasn't sure how to meaningfully foreshadow her mom super early in the comic (even though this was the plan since day 1), so her mom appeared as a physical presence pretty late. I knew the second I gave even a hint that there was someone she loved a ton as part of her past life, that most readers would come to the conclusion she had to make all the money for them (you readers are sharp, I know you'll pick up on things very fast with all the breadcrumbs I've left!) 

Scarlet's mom is an allusion to my own mother. She both looks like my mom and has the same personality- My mom loves flowers, succulents, and photography. While Scarlet herself I find to be very distinctly different from myself, I did put a lot of my own mom into Scarlet's mom so I could write the story as sincerely as possible. (My mom is alive btw and she reads the comic, and yes I hug her often!)

I think I talked about this on twitter, but I did cry multiple times while writing this last chapter. Very embarrassing. But then I sent it to my editor for proofing and she said she also cried, so phew! I'm not just a baby XD

Anyway, hope you guys like it, and I hope the ending isn't too rage-inducing haha.
