Una data da NON DIMENTICARE

Oggi è il 27 gennaio, il Giorno della Memoria.

È una data che ci invita a fermarci un momento, a ricordare milioni di vite spezzate dall’odio, dalla persecuzione, dall’indifferenza; e purtroppo oggi come non mai, i ricordi che sembravano di un lontano odio tra popoli, sono attualissimi e vicino a noi.

Ma la memoria non è fatta solo di dolore.

Ricordare significa anche custodire ciò che ci rende umani: l’affetto, la bellezza, i piccoli momenti che ci hanno fatto sentire vivi, magari anche la musica, un brano o la copertina particolare di un disco o duna rivista o un fumetto..

La memoria è anche questo..

Oggi voglio avere da voi qualche ricordo bello e felice.

A date NOT TO FORGET

Today is January 27th, Holocaust Remembrance Day.

It's a date that invites us to pause for a moment, to remember millions of lives shattered by hatred, persecution, and indifference; and unfortunately, today more than ever, memories that seemed to be of a distant hatred between peoples are as current and close to us as ever.

But memory isn't just about pain.

Remembering also means preserving what makes us human: affection, beauty, the small moments that made us feel alive, perhaps even music, a song, or the special cover of an album, magazine, or comic.

Memory is also this.

Today I want to share some beautiful and happy memories with you.
