2026-02-09 Fenicotteri Rosa tra Cap d' Agde e Marseillan plage - (Patreon)

Ciao amici,

tra un lavoro e l'altro oggi mi sono concessa una piccola passeggiata alla scoperta della Riserva Du Bagnas tra Cap d'Agde e Marseillan Plage.

Bagnas è una zona umida costiera mediterranea di circa 600 ettari, classificata Riserva Naturale Nazionale dal 1983 e sito Natura 2000, area protetta, ex salina e ospita quindi una ricca fauna e flora: uccelli, rettili, anfibi e altre piante.

Tra questi i fenicotteri rosa! Infatti i miei 10 km percorsi sono stati fatti alla ricerca dei feniocotteri rosa che in questo periodo hanno il piumaggio rosa più accentuato.

E' stato bello poterli ammirare anche se da distante e poter vivere questo paesaggio naturale che è stato voluto fortemente da un gruppo di cittadini che si è opposto all'ennesimo progetto di costruzione di un parco divertimenti a Petit Bagnas.

Parchi divertimenti che sono presenti in moltissimi campeggi nella zona e che mi ricordano un pochino la nostra Romagna e le offerte turistiche estive.

Il ritorno sulla spiaggia, invece, mi ha dato ancora una volta senso di libertà senza costrizioni (neanche di lettini uno vicino all'altro) ma semplicemente di ampiezza nel guardare l'orizzonte e sperare che arrivi presto l'estate.

Between one job and another, today I treated myself to a short walk to explore the Bagnas Reserve between Cap d'Agde and Marseillan Plage.

Bagnas is a Mediterranean coastal wetland of about 600 hectares, classified as a National Nature Reserve since 1983 and a Natura 2000 site, a protected area, and a former salt marsh. It is therefore home to a rich fauna and flora: birds, reptiles, amphibians, and other plants.

Among these are pink flamingos! In fact, my 10 km walk was done in search of pink flamingos, which at this time of year have their most pronounced pink plumage.

It was wonderful to be able to admire them, even from a distance, and to experience this natural landscape, which was strongly supported by a group of citizens who opposed yet another project to build an amusement park in Petit Bagnas.

These amusement parks are located in many campsites in the area and remind me a little of our Romagna region and its summer tourism offerings.

Returning to the beach, however, once again gave me a sense of freedom without constraints (not even the need for sunbeds to be close to each other) but simply of the expanse of space in gazing at the horizon and hoping that summer will arrive soon.
