2026-10-10 IL PONTE DI MATTONI SUL FIUME STURA - THE BRICK BRIDGE OVER THE STURA RIVER (Patreon)

Buon weekend amici di Patreon, come vi ho accennato nei giorni passati, domani porterò i "GRANDE CUCULO" alla scoperta di un posto molto affascinantenche non dista molto da me.

Si tratta di un ponte sul fiume Stura costruito più di 100 anni fa fatto interamente di mattoni.

Mattoni posati ad uno ad uno e pensate che ancora oggi nella parte più alta passa la ferrovia.

Un ponte parzialmente abbattuto durante la seconda guerra mondiale e poi ripristinato diversi anni dopo.

Un sentiero nel bosco ci accompagna in questo percorso, fatto non solo di fascino ma anche di rilfelssioni.

Riflessioni partite proprio da un pezzo di ponte abbattuto ed oramai ricoperto di vegetazione, che ci dice:

"Ciao io sono il Mattone e tu sei l'essere umano.

Ma lo sai che sei ben strano, te?

Pensa che prima mi hai cotto,

poi con milioni di altri miei fratelli, ci hai posati gli uni sugli altri,

a sostenere il tuo andare di qua e di là,

mi hai cementato

bombardato

abbattuto

e dimenticato.

Ora sono qua a meditare,

che te sei prorio ben strano

Essere umano."

Happy weekend, Patreon friends! As I mentioned in the past few days, tomorrow I'll take the "GRANDE CUCULO" to discover a very fascinating place not far from me.

It's a bridge over the Stura River, built over 100 years ago and made entirely of bricks.

Bricks laid one by one, and imagine that the railway still runs across the highest section.

A bridge partially demolished during the Second World War and then restored several years later.

A path in the woods accompanies us on this journey, filled not only with charm but also with reflections.

Reflections that began precisely from a piece of the bridge, demolished and now overgrown with vegetation, which tells us:

"Hello, I am the Brick and you are the human being.

But do you know how strange you are?

Think that first you cooked me,

then with millions of my other brothers, you placed us one on top of the other,

to support your going here and there,

you cemented me,

bombarded me,

knocked me down

and forgot me.

Now I'm here to meditate,

that you are truly strange,

human being."
