Next episode is absolutely mental, in the best way. The threat that Genthru poses now that he's using his power is gonna leave you floored. Honestly one of the more underrated fights in HxH.

It was not planned for Genthru to use his ability, in fact it was the opposite. It was explained during the fight that the plan was to show Genthru that he was just so far ahead of Gon so that he would drop his guard so that they later could lure him into a prepared trap. But Gon's ego wouldn't allow him to go through with it and be "humiliated" like that by being beaten without Genthru having to rely on his ability to do so. So Gon went off script and endangered the plan
