Glad to see you back reacting to this, this is a great episode and I’ll just say the final 3 episodes of the season are going to be crazy so be ready. Also I have to ask how did you make your schedule? Cause I need to know what you use to make a great schedule like the one you posted

‘You are not Goku’ 😭 My poor Mumen Rider. He’s not nearly the strongest hero, but he’s so precious. Yes, Amai Mask is the guy who approached Genos in the little restaurant with Saitama. You being frustrated with Saitama not getting the recognitions he deserved. I’m with you! I loved that Saitama stood up for the heroes who fought the Deep Sea King before him, but was so bummed he couldn’t get the full credit and praise he deserved. But I also love that he complains and gets upset and was down when people didn’t know who he was, or when he ranked so low at first and wanted that recognition, and yet, in moments like this, when it really matters, it doesn’t matter to him at all. Oh, idk why people complain about S2. I enjoyed it, my only little nitpick is that I think it starts off a bit wonky from what I remember (this was 6yrs ago and I have terrible memory). Now, the complaints about S3 seem valid from the little I’ve seen here and there (I’ve not watched it and don’t plan to on my own. I will be watching your reactions of course). I picked up the manga after S1 cause I enjoyed it so much and had a few months to wait for S2 to air on tv and I’m real glad I did.

Hey Joey! This is my first time leaving a comment and I know it's a week late to this episode. but I hope you read this. First off, Mumen Rider may seem like a joke, but his passionate speech was truly him speaking about himself. He's weak and a joke when it comes to fights, but the whole point of it was him fighting no matter who or what it was, despite the odds being so overwhelmingly against him. That's the true ideal of a hero, being able to face danger to protect others no matter how scared you are or how impossible it looks. Secondly, Saitama was purposefully making himself seem like a scumbag and taking all the credit. The one citizen who kept doubting Saitama and downplaying him and the other heroes was negatively affecting the public's opinion of heroes who risked their lives to protect them. Saitama saw that and made himself seem like the bad guy so that people wouldn't think badly of the other heroes, you can even see their opinions change when some of them were grateful to the other heroes in comparison to Saitama. It's much deeper than the joking nature of the show, Saitama doesn't actually care about recognition or fame, he does this hero sidejob because he wants to. And despite having a shallow reason for being a hero (wanting to fight strong opponents), he truly is a hero in how he makes his own public standing terrible in order to preserve the dignity of heroes who aren't as strong as him. I know it's sometimes hard to pay full attention to what's being said in the subtitles while trying to watch the anime, but it has some deeper themes than just a really strong guy looking for a good fight.
