The blonde one who controlled the space ship is Schneizel, Lelouch's older brother who has only been mentioned so far. So of the royal family we have been introduced to: Emperor Charles (dad) and the children from oldest to youngest: Schneizel, Cornelia, Clovis (dead), Lelouch, Euphy, Nunnally

Not worst cliffhanger, that belongs to multiple episodes of demon slayer entertainment district arc.

You really need to go back and watch some episodes. I don't remember exactly which but they clearly showed Loyd and Milly getting engaged. They showed them going out for a date in one scene also There was even this big talk between Shirley and Milly talking about it. That Milly was so jealous of Shirley that she could pursue love herself while she has was stuck in a fixed marriage. It was also stated that Milly's family used to be of high nobility in the past but that they have fallen in recent years and so her parents had worked really hard to get her to marry a Nobel house to prop up their house/family again. And Loyd is an earl which has also been stated earlier in the show, and her parents had worked really hard in order to secure that marriage to Loyd
