We're kicking of 2025 with the viral meme songs of 2010! Made by people we look at very differently 15 years later! Name your favorite bad song (or maybe good song????), Rebecca Black's "Friday" or Insane Clown Posse's "Miracles"!!!

Comments

Daniel Shaltes

I'll say it, I couldn't tell you how magnets work. I'm sure I could learn, I have a general familiarity with science thanks to the wonders of the K-12 American education system & there's probably a Hank Green video about it, but the problem is that I'm also lazy. So I'll give it to ICP for embodying my "not curious enough to bother looking it up" ethos; on a related note, I have not actually listened to the song.

Earthmover

As someone who read Homestuck around the early 2010s it’s gotta be Miracles

Niall Heaphy

Friday is the culmination of just about 15 different wrongs all coming together, from poor singing to cheap production to mostly bad lyrics and the final boss of bad guest verses on pop songs. And somehow, all 15 wrongs still manage to come together to make a right. So yeah, I'm voting for Friday if you couldn't tell. (my hottest take is that the Hyperpop remix is worse than the original)

Allibwraps

My brother unironically loved Friday when I came out and I had to hear it on a loop for weeks. It felt like being tortured. I'm with the clowns on this one

Lee Breezy

I was a theatre kid who took the class in high school. Everyday, the teacher would play a musical’s soundtrack at the beginning of class EXCEPT on Fridays, in which he would put on “Friday” by Rebecca black on repeat. For that reason, I’m going with Miracles.

lukas

I'm not gonna check but if I was told ICP had bad politics I'd believe it.

Nick Ionta

Fuckin' magnets how do they work that is all

Connor Rankin

Whenever i question my own intelligence and whether I’m smart enough to achieve what i set out to do, i can at least console myself in the knowledge that i know how magnets work

Keirik

I'm I'm I'm I'm so excited. I'm so excited. I'm gonna have a ball today.

Lucy Daughter of None

This is a tough one because you have an objectively awful song by people who appear to be halfway decent folks and then you have a catchy song that a slimeball stumbled into writing but is performed by a person who does not deserve the hate she got for the song. Reluctantly going with Friday on this one

Mike Golen

Friday is the more interesting song and when you compare lyrical content, far less cringe than Miracles. Dare I say, it's "better"?

Charlie L

This is a battle of "cringe at the teenager's vanity song" vs "laugh at the elder statesmen of Detroit clown rap for having a funny, stupid song" Like I could never make it through Friday, fundamentally the joke of listening to it ends after 1 chorus. Miracles is a whole song of nonsense, so is that better? I'll go with it but it's sketchy logic

JazzySpF

Being so bold as to try to have one more ‘fun’ than The Beach Boys is a move I respect. Giving this one to Rebecca.

Kynan Clarke-Chancellor

The retroactive “appreciation” of ‘Friday’ is one of my least favourite things online at the moment. The internet tends to overcorrect, and you can say the bullying of a child is bad without pretending the product was good. Granted, it’s still less bad than her follow up ‘Saturday’. If I’m going to ironically listing to bad music from 2008-2012, I’d rather hear “fucking magnets / how do they work” than not. At least it kinda sounds like a real song. That is, if I’m tipsy and surrounded by people I don’t think respect me anyway.

Colin
>>159722311

I’ve checked. They’re actually pretty based. Incredibly inclusive. Most juggalos are just redneck hippies.

Alina

Voting for Friday, because everything I've heard from and about Rebecca Black subsequently has shown her to be a good sport despite some people (hopefully, a fringe minority) deciding to go out of their way to hate an actual child for something so silly.

James Smith

Miracles aimed for profundity, and failed so hard it landed in passable at best. Friday aimed for passable at best and failed so hard it landed in spectacular in every sense of the word. Every bad choice, every nonsensical lyric, every instance of obvious auto-tune, every awkward dance move, all adds up to a sum greater than its parts. It's the difference between a fireworks display malfunctioning and not going off at all, to one of those videos where a fireworks display malfunctions and sets off hundreds of them at once. Friday was always an amazing song, we just weren't ready for it. We had to spend years beating it down for being stupid before we could realise that it's stupidity makes it beautiful.

Alex Georganas

Third Party vote for the 10 year anniversary version of Friday. Rebecca Black got Dorian Electra, 3oh3 and Big Freedia to Hyperpop her dumb song up and that’s the best thing ever.

Samantha Bonaparte

rebecca black was a literal child and done dirty by management/label/etc., but that song doesn't compare to miracles. like i know it is not a song that would win grammys or anything but there is some real poetic shit in there! "music is all magic" these insane clowns aren't wrong!!! (and from all reports - including a field piece from the daily show this year - they have good politics so, ICP gets my vote!)

Jon Heiman

Welp, time for me to finally listen to "Miracles" in full... Update: The intro has "Cause I see miracles in every way / And I see miracles everyday." Going with Ms. Black.

Nawf4

I feel dirty voting for either of these.

Brandon Hay

The thing that baffles me most is how many times Patrice Wilson managed to follow up "Friday" successfully, like there were that many families who looked at Rebecca Black and thought "yeah, I want that for my kid". For the record, the funniest of those follow-ups was "It's Thanksgiving" by Nicole Westbrook.

flibbertygigget

Y'know what, Juggalos in 2003 kept me and multiple other tweens/teens from being groomed on the Warped Tour-adjacent forums. Somehow the least sketch 2000s alt act. I'm giving this one to "Miracles" just for you.

giascle

The line "And I don't wanna talk to a scientist / Y'all motherfuckers lying, and getting me pissed" is why we keep electing Trump

Jon Heiman
>>159722232

But the question is, do you want to hear from a scientist? Shaggy 2 Dope does not and I cannot abide by such anti-intellectualism.

lukas
>>159722311

Oh that's very good know. I made an ass out of u and me just then.

SpoopsForDays

Friday did have a lasting effect on the culture, but Violent J got a fursuit of his clown makeup to support his daughter and that is a miracle.

Blemi

I am voting for miracles simply because my highschool gym teacher would play Friday on repeat deliberately to torment his class. At the time it was annoying but in hindsight that teacher was funny af!

nic

YES, FRIDAY, FINALLY. I think part of the appeal/uncanniness of "Friday" is the heterogeneousness of its production quality. It sounds cheaper than it is while sounding much more expensive than it is. I think this sort of reflects where YouTube was when "Friday" blew up (not the corporate monster it is now). That this totally fluke-ish semi-homemade video went massively viral (I think it broke the record of hitting a million views the fastest), that that teenager become an OG YouTuber (she was in that Shane Dawson, O2L, and Lohanthony cohort. . .) and then became a hyperpop star and DJ (and she's really good at both) is a trajectory that is so, so canny to the development of the internet and its culture as we know it. It's "post-irony," or whatever. I can't think of anything else like it.

nic
>>159722379

This comment and your profile pic just took me back to 2010

Sarah Bee

I think “Friday” has played in my head every week since its release. You might think this is a vote against it, but no. This is my pick.

AthenaSalem

For better or worse, I know most of the lyrics to Friday through sheer cultural power. I only know the one line in Miracles.

Dork Mode

Todd, if this episode doesn't come out on a Friday, I'm gonna be disappointed.

nic
>>159724550

Also, I think Gagnam style would have made for an interesting pairing for Friday. Both are viral for similar reasons but Gagnam is closer to the VEVO professional music video than it is to the semi-homemade, early internet "Friday." Gagnam's impact is also closer to Friday's than the magnet song

Franco del Rosario

Rebecca Black once relayed this story of being at a club with a friend, and “Call Me Maybe” started playing. The friend then turned to Rebecca and said “OMG, that’s YOUR song!” Apparently, Carly Rae Jepsen and Rebecca Black get mixed up a lot. Girl, it’s so confusing sometimes.

David Yurch

If only The Cure’s “Friday I’m in Love” featured the word Friday just a little more prominently. Then we could’ve had THAT as the song that accompanies the feeling of being happy that it’s Friday, and there would be no place in the greater pantheon for Patrice Wilson’s monument to IQ underestimation.

Thomas Deja

"Friday" may be objectively a worse song, but "Miracles" get the win simply for the line reading of 'Magnets--how do they work?'

T. Ryder

I don't hate ICP or Miracles, but man on another listen it ain't just those couple of lines. But I like the beat, so I guess I'm giving it to the Juggalos.

Mr Spaghett

You act like two bad bitches can't coexist Todd. I vote both

Joseph Bergeron

It's a miracle that Friday still gets stuck in my head 15 years later.

Jane Doe

I think you can just end the podcast after this

(William) Patrick Hodges

Minus the guest verse, Friday is unironically great. Plus, as a viral hit, it’s more memorable. ICP have gotten more popular through TikTok, and yet Miracles is never brought up anymore

Felix Forrester

I have literally never heard Friday before just now. This is the ultimate Song Vs. Song in a big way, which is the "Is This A Bit?" awards for utterly incomprehensible levels of sincerity. That said, I give it to Miracles because I believe ICP is actually sincere here which gives me hope in these trying times.

Steph

I want to vote for them both. Legends!

Blinky

Rebecca Black "gets" Friday in a way I feel J and Shaggy will never "get" Miracles. Rebecca Black has also released other, better songs, post-Friday, while frankly, the only way ICP has changed my life is by making me aware of the existence of Faygo. And I can take it or leave it Friday gets the vote easily.

Allan Olley

This is a tough one, I think Friday is the worse musical composition in many ways and lyrically more inane, but I find Miracles very flat and monotonous, whereas Friday somehow manages to be catchy while being grating. So Friday..

Paul Anderson

Why can't this be Miracles by Jefferson Starship against Friday by Ice Cube.

Cheeseburger_666

Miracles is still kinda funny. Friday ran it's course a long time ago.

Tristan

Stream Sugar Water Cyanide by Rebecca Black btw

Nico Niconi

This match up was made for Shatner. "Captains log, Star date 1512.2, 7am. Waking up in the morning. Gotta be fresh. Gotta GO. DOWN. STAIRS...."

Ernesto Rodriguez

Friday was the career start of one of the weirdest artist in the hyper pop world so it gets my vote. ICP sucks, the song sucks and the desiree to revise that cause Juggalos don't always suck is dumb

Rich Kee

Both songs feel like they were originally conceived to be sung by Elmo.

Birthe_bird

I have to confess that I kinda unironically love friday by now. Is it dumb as fuck? Hell yeah! But that is kinda why it tends to get me in a good mood. The chorus is also kinda killer.

Robin Wu

I was sold on Friday years ago, when I stumbled across an acoustic Mandarin cover of it and realized the building blocks of that song were actually fucking solid.

The Omega Geek

It's fair to clown on adults for their bad musical choices, especially when they are literal clowns. Rebecca Black was just a kid who suddenly found herself standing in the shadow of a crashing tsunami of Internet hate.

Jakob Eyjólfsson

There’s a world where Miracles is a perfectly enjoyable song. Granted, it’s a world in which I don’t speak a word of English, but still.

Yurple

Tbf to Miracles, magnets are amazing and I doubt most of us could say how magnet actually work without looking it up. At best, I think you'll get some who will say electromagnetic waves, but still! It's just not useful knowledge for most. But... What vote should I make? It's Friday, gotta get down with Friday It's kitschy, and cute even if the song is dreadful.

El

Friday was inescapable when I was a kid but I only know Miracles from Homestuck, so I voted miracles, it's what 16yo me would have wanted

tijuanabiblestudies

I've decided that for my midlife crisis I am going to become a Juggalo, so I am honor-bound to vote for ICP.

Jarvis Alive

I unironically love Friday & always hated how mean ppl were 2 Rebecca & as a straight black man who loves girly ass pop music, hearin Charlemagne Tha God & DJ Envy sing Friday & Last Friday Night every Friday on da radio was always very comfortin 2 mee, Miracles don't have anything like dat goin 4 it

Angela

If we we're going for mid 2000s meme songs, then I'm throwing in a third party vote for What Does the Fox Say by Ylvis.

Sara

i have a playlist for when i’m driving myself and my friends to a concert, and the first song on it is the hyperpop remix of friday. it goes BANANAS.

Rudis Muiznieks

The reason Miracles gets my vote is because of how Violent J randomly shares the time he tried to befriend a pelican, only to be met with betrayal and abandonment. I don't know what it has to do with miracles but it's actually kind of heartbreaking.

Jaime Paradise

Both songs are cute, but I'm giving it to Miracles for recognizing that pelicans are the Bastards of this green earth

Michael Murphy

Miracles is basically the movie What The Bleep Do We Know!? collapsed into a song.

Cliff Excellent

Miracles is probably the first and only song discussed on this podcast that could actually be improved by a Shatner version. The magnet line gets all the attention but I also want to hear him say "Shaggy's little boys look just like Shaggy"

Michael Murphy

Also, are we sure Violent J isn't just Guy Fieri in clown makeup?

Sarvis

Is it better to be an amateur? Or an idiot? Song Vs. Song asking the real questions.

Laura Paik

Why must we always pit women and clumsily earnest men in clown makeup against each other?

A Bucket of Water

The closest analog for a meme song in the same lane/era as Friday is Call Me Maybe, and the winner is still Friday

Jason Lee

I've always found the lyric "gotta have my bowl, gotta have cereal" to be oddly melancholy

A Bucket of Water
>>159786289

And to clarify, both this hypothetical matchup and the real matchup feature nothing but absolute bangers. Friday has been my most played song on my Spotify wrapped for 2 consecutive years, and I suspect 2025 will be #3

Dani Moor

JUSTICE FOR JUGGALOS. GIVE ME FAYGO OR GIVE ME DEATH!

no

miracles goes hard (heard it for the first time just now), friday is too outsider art to be enjoyable

KaiserBeamz

Voting for "Miracles" because the beat actually goes hard.

Loyal Deserter

In 2011, YouTube had a hidden feature where you could play a game of snake in the video window. I challenged myself to survive in that game for the entire duration of Rebecca Black’s Friday. I don’t remember how many attempts it took, but it was a lot.

Brodie

What, you don't like fridays? You don't like partying? Unions fought for weekends, are you anti-union as well??? (sarcasm)

Sam Potts

Somehow not heard either of these songs before today, and was only vaguely aware of 'Friday' as a meme (yes, I am old and not very online). Doesn't seem close to me at all: Miracles is a far better song.

Shiny Skunk

I can't make my mind up!!! Which meme should I taaaake?????

Erik Danielson

Sing it with me now, everybody! “WATER, FIRE, AIR AND DIRT. FUCKIN’ MAGNETS, HOW DO THEY WORK?!”

Erik Danielson
>>159740290

Now I can’t get the image of Elmo singing “I don’t wanna talk to a scientist, y’all motherfuckers lyin’ and getting me pissed” out of my head

Maxine - RaccoonRevolution

At the risk of killing what little cred I have, I will absolutely bat for Miracles here. In fact, hot take- if it had dropped without that one bit from Shaggy 2 Dope about the magnets and science denial, I guarantee you there'd be people calling it "the one good ICP song" or something like that. Remove two lines and it's an unremarkable but tolerable song about appreciating the wonder of everyday life and I can respect that much.

Beau Dure

To be clear here -- Rebecca Black's parents and producers deserve far more of the blame for "Friday" than she does. But oh my, that's a lot of blame.

Nathan M
>>159896098

Yeah Friday feels incredibly artificial and fake. The one thing I can say about Miracles is that it's certainly not fake

Martha Boatright

First off, both of these songs are way more boring than I remember than being. If we go by just the original version, I think Miracles edges out just for at least being about SOMETHING even if it's poorly executed. But I've heard "Friday" covered and it can make a decent song with better production than Rebecca Black was given.

DIPDOP

The Friday response is a product of such a different time on the internet that it’s jarring looking back on it. I guarantee if it were released today that almost nobody would give a shit but somehow in 2011 it was enough to make national headlines.

Gene Younkin

I’m going with Miracles because nobody looked back 15 years ago and said “Why was I so mean to ICP? Why did I think it was okay to make fun of a posse of insane clowns?”

Jon Nepsha

I feel that ICP gets unfairly maligned for that magnet line, which is sadly misunderstood. It’s not that they are idiots or anti science. The whole song is about losing your sense of wonder and lamenting a cold and calculated world that used yo be fun.

Calla the Crick

I had never heard Friday all the way through tbh and had managed to miss Miracles entirely but here's the thing: Friday is an objectively OBNOXIOUS song that I dislike HEARING, which pretty much kills it for me. I feel like I could listen to miracles while basically not paying attention to it at all, which is a THOUSAND times preferable to me.

Mara Copland

What the fuck’s a clock?! Pretty sure my friend and I have a weird love of Miracles based solely on the amazing SNL parody.

Timothy Holmes

I had never heard Miracles in its entirety before, and was having a great time on my first listen.... until I reached the lyric about how scientists are lying to you. That took the wind out of my sails real fast.

Johnny Riches

Friday sounds like the progenitor to gen Z brainrot humor (complimentary and derogatory)

Josie

Voting Friday purely for the nostalgia value. Oh, 2010 me, you didn’t know how good life really was

Kite
>>160040089

feel like it's worth noting that while they are def christian but that they shut down the gathering when covid started quite promptly and decisively ("we would rather stay home than risk one juggalo life" iirc) so they're not antiscience in the way MIA or someone like that is

Kite

on one hand i feel bad that one kid who had the misfortune for their rich parents birthday present had to be the "ok to say horrific things to/about" person du jour, but on the other hand, i did not successfully make it all the way through my first attempt to actually listen to the song a few minutes ago. also icp are delightful and wholesome

Sam Rueter

Hardest choice since the front seat/back seat schism (Listen to Rebecca Black's new stuff if you haven't it's really good)

Comet

Gotta have my bowl Vs Fuckin magnets how do they work

Guy Cohen

Friday vs. Baby was literally right there.

Sol Rabbit

As much as I have cooled on ICP, Miracle is still a garbage song. Friday has been redeemed and made awesome.

Dook

Around the time Friday came out, I remember seeing a (probably joke) conspiracy theory that Friday was secretly about the JFK assassination. Some of the “evidence” for it included: - JFK was murdered on a Friday. - The driver of the car JFK was assassinated in was Samuel Kickin (Kickin in the front seat, sitting in the back seat). - JFK was reported to have had Bran Flakes for breakfast the morning of his assassination (Got to have my bowl, got to have my cereal). - The following Monday, JFK was supposed to sign a bill into law requiring all public schools to provide bus transportation for their students (Gotta catch my bus). - When the assassination happened, the Secret Service yelled at Jackie Kennedy to get down (Gotta get down on Friday). Unfortunately, Samuel Kickin isn’t a real person (William Greer was Kennedy’s driver that day), and Kennedy had toast, marmalade, eggs, and bacon for breakfast that day, so the “theory” is pure bullshit.

SammiSamSam

My favorite thing about this podcast is that you can feel it and hear it, but it can't be seen

Allie H

I only listened to "Miracles" the first time the other day, and I never knew there were so many great lyrics besides the fuckin magnets. I'm still going with "Friday," though. I was 14 when that dropped, and that was the first time I realized you could make a "St. Anger"-level disaster in pop music. Also, it later inspired Rachel Bloom's "I Steal Pets," and I am nothing if not a diehard CXG fan.

Qualifiers

I voted for Miracles, but I’m only in the comments to thank Lina for recommending “Soup” by Blind Melon. I haven’t been able to stop listening to this album. Yes, Blind Melon wears their 90s influences on their sleeve, but this album is so much more weird, darker and experimental than the typical post-grunge rock outing. There aren’t many bands that can pull off a They Might Be Giants-style song about making people into furniture, and make it almost…poignant? Just wanted Lina to know that her rec was appreciated

sarah hansell

I HAVE to vote for Rebecca Black simply because of her musical glow up in the years after “Friday”!! She is phenomenal live and such a dynamic performer!

Lazurit

You all are laughing like you actually understand how magnets work instead of imagining electrons as plastic balls from fifth grade physics class

Cliff Excellent

I would like to thank Todd for ruining my Spotify recommendations for the next few months

The Enby One

I only just heard Miracles today and I want those 4 minutes and 22 seconds back. I'm going with Friday.

MixterM29

At least we can all be glad ICP did NOT in fact become the first dual presidents of the United States of America in 2024. Whether or not it was the country's last democratic election ever remains to be seen. (I really, really hope no one here understands the joke)

Eric Lane

Miracles makes me think ICP might be fun to hang with. He fed a fish to a pelican and it almost ate his cellphone. That's some grade-A tomfoolery. They are truly coming from a place of wonder and joy. Let's get high, Shaggy. I'm voting for you.

Will Denson

ICP may be the group who, as grown men, said they didn't know how magnets worked. But tomorrow, they will be the guys who made "Chop Chop Slide" and Rebecca Black will still be the woman who made "Friday". Twice.

Tanner McGuire

Can we remove Friday from history just to save Rebecca Black the grief?

Brett Brinkman
>>161042762

No because then that means the masterpiece of the remix wouldn’t exist. 3OH!3, Dorian Electra, Big Freedia and production by Dylan Brady (100 Gecs). It doesn’t make the original any less embarrassing but it kills in sets.

Brett Brinkman

One of those great instances where the remix is better than the original. Rebecca Black just needed Hyperpop and Dorian Electra.

Brett Brinkman
>>159722823

And not to mention the production is done by the king of Hyperpop Dylan Brady of 100 Gecs. RB just needed the Gecs to pull the underground pop scene that way.

Stabs Anderson

I genuinely enjoy Friday more and more. I am still looking forward to the weekend.

cool guy

The Guardian had an incredible interview with the Insane Clown Posse shortly after Miracles, which was a little sardonic, and conscious of the absurdity, but also profoundly humanizing, and I think that interview is what ended up defining what Miracles was to me. It was the moment ICP went from something edgy and embarrassing to something very human and even lovable for its flaws. Friday... I almost hate to be this frank about it because of the way it played out, but Friday was a fatuous exercise in vanity. Obviously it's not Rebecca Black's fault, she was a child and did not deserve to be exposed to the insensate cruelty of public ridicule, but Friday was a rich mom paying $4000 so her kid could have a pop song with a guest rapper and accompanying music video, and that's exactly what it sounds like. Miracles is not a great song but I can reassess it as a tragically comical failure, a grasp at profundity from two guys who just weren't up to the task. But however much I see Rebecca Black's humanity and hate the way she was treated, it doesn't change anything about Friday as a song, which is just bad. I don't know what to say other than it's just very bad. I think any fondness of it has to actually just be fondness for... not even the chorus, but I guess just the cadence of the chorus? The actual song is almost confrontationally inept, a plodding assembly of grating noise. I actually went and hunted down my reaction to Friday from 2010, curious if I was meaner than I remember being, and my reaction at the time was, verbatim, "terrible but I don't see why anyone cares" I think that's the way I still feel about it. I reacted the way I think a sane world would have. Somebody brought it to my attention, I didn't think much of it, and then I went and did something else. Miracles is at least listenable enough to listen to. Then you find out why it's bad from listening to it, and it's genuinely amusing in its badness. I actually laughed out loud twice in succession, once when Violent J reminds us, "Crows, ghosts." like yeah, man. for sure. And then a couple seconds later when he serenely avers "magic everywhere in this bitch 😌" Friday isn't funny in /the way/ that it fails, it was just funny THAT it failed so spectacularly, and that feels a bit more mean-spirited because it kind of puts the onus on you to make fun of it, as opposed to just being pleasantly surprised by the sublime absurdity of a grown man intoning "pure motherfuckin' magic. this shit'll blow your motherfuckin' mind....... pelicans." And, honestly, other than the unfortunate part where Shaggy says scientists are lying, there is a very large part of me that's just like "hell yeah, brother. pelicans." and I think that's what's so joyous about it. The Insane Clown Posse don't know it, but they're kind of talking about the Lacanian Real? They don't know how to articulate it in a non-ridiculous way, but they're trying to convey that you should take time to appreciate the sheer impossibility of comprehending reality in all the complexities of its purest form, and find wonderment and joy in that. You might say I'm giving them too much credit, and, sure, maybe. But it's also true that to just snicker that they're idiots who are confused by why their kids look like them is deliberately uncharitable. When they say "mystery" what they mean is actually closer to the classical meaning of the word. "the mysteries" were not things to be figured out, but things that were understood to be unexplainable or unknowable. It's clear from the Guardian interview, they didn't mean to advocate for incuriosity, but rather curiosity unconstrained by frameworks of understanding that reduce and contain the complexities of reality, which they consider to be beautiful and awe-inspiring. There's something pretty cool about that.

SteveG
>>161042762

A little Big Freedia makes almost any song better. Big Freedia + Beyonce? Obviously. Big Freedia + Willy Nelson? I dunno. Probably.

Chris P.

So I think there was an element that was missing from the conversation around the modern day embracing of ICP and their earnestness. I think part of the opinion shift is that a lot of folks who don’t listen to ICP have spent the last 5-10 years watching guys who look like Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope slowly radicalized themselves and become anti-social bigots/assholes. Seeing that ICP appears to have not just avoided this, but actively gone in the other direction, is likely doing a lot of work to change the opinions of people who have never and will never actually judge them based on the music.

Tmat

Was I the only one here who got into Friday through the Brocks Dubz cover? "My hand is a dolphin" is my mantra.
