If you're a close friend of mine, I'm sorry if you've already tolerated me yammering on about Scapple last week week! Because I am here to YAMMER.

Apparently Scapple (by the same people who made Scrivener) has been out for like, six years? But I didn't know about it until Luke had to start using it for grad school. It's $15 and super simple; you double-click to make a note, choose a color/style for that note, make new notes, move them around, connect them if you want... it's just an easy way to organize your thoughts. And it's way less work than post-it notes. (Also probably less expensive? Post-it notes aren't cheap!)

Here's a quick video showing you the basics of Scapple (bonus: narrated by the charming British creator of the program), and if you're interested, here's a link to the page to purchase it. From what I understand, you can get it through iTunes, but you may not be able to put it on multiple computers if you do, and also I think all of you know by now that it's better to buy it directly from the creator's website. :)

I hope it helps even just one of you, whether you're trying to write a book or just organize your life a little! It's been a complete game-changer for me, and I've only had it for a week!

PS, the two BOO! It's Sex strips that are outlined above will be up this Tuesday and Thursday!

I haven’t used it a lot in the past couple of years, but yeah, definitely. Especially if I need to relate of bunch of things that are related but not well.

I'd been meaning to try out Scrivener, but I have a danged difficult time starting a new program not that I managed to get any ideas in the first place (though I imagine it'd help me finish the third book I'm working on, I feel like I'd get so wrapped up on how other books fit in that I wouldn't get anywhere, but that's speculation at this point since my main procrastination point is it's STILL winter and I've been devoting any free time to exercise)

I think I like Spam better, but bacon is the best!

I love scapple. I love that it’s super-simple to use, has nice colors and has an infinite canvas. I use it for both work and private life (mostly for brainstorming and organizing stuff). And now I got a few new ideas from your way of using it... thanks for sharing!

I'm glad to find another Scapple-lover! <3
