Drawing night at Shepherd U! This guy had one heckuva jaw! I had a tough time drawing dem legs, but most of the rest of him was fun.

Our regular Thursday drawing group has been canceled again, this time for a painful reason; remember this painting Michael was working on a few weeks ago (the reason he couldn't host our Thursday group for awhile)? Well, he finished it, and it's BEAUTIFUL! He was supposed to drive it down to our state capital to be juried with the hopes of winning a big prize this week. 

Before the trip, he put a layer of varnish on it to literally seal the deal, and the next morning, he found it completely cracked from head to toe. He had to painstakingly Q-tip off the varnish bit by bit, and fix any paint that was removed in the process.
