Sketch Sesh (VERY CLOTHED) (Patreon)

Lucy Bellwood is guiding my drawing itch this month apparently! We chatted briefly yesterday about how we want to draw CLOTHED models more often. Thus far none of my books have been about nudists, and I don't know how to draw that delicious fold that happens in the elbow area yet. 

(Obviously I still don't, but you've gotta start somewhere.) 

Figure drawing was called off last night and I'm in Memphis next week (albeit for a WEEK-LONG DRAWATHON, so at least I won't be NOT drawing!). So I decided to do a little figure drawing last night, using this book I'm glad I picked up on a clearance rack somewhere! It has TONS of full-figured personalities, of course, in clothes.

I'll probably draw more from this book whenever I'm itching to draw clothed figures. I marked every page with a good full-figure shot and it's like, every three pages. SUCH a good reference book!

Next week I'll be sharing the art I'm making at the caricature convention I'll be at with Lar! I'm teaching him how to use watercolor and gouache. If you have any special requests for what you'd like to see next week, let me know! I'll make myself available to answer any questions you have about using these paints (assuming I can answer them), since it'll be fresh on my mind. :)
