Daily Sketch Compilation! (Patreon)

Last week was BIZZ ZEE so I never found time to share these with you! 

Today I had an exciting day of email catchups, replacing my 10-year-old copy of Photoshop after CS5 finally kicked the shit on my laptop (and thus, clearing off space so I could install it), and shopping for groceries for the next two weeks, but it was punctuated with nice moments like talking with my best friend for a few hours over lunch, getting to know my AirBnB hosts, eating delicious salmon, and drawing this cute opossum juggling her babies.

Due to my Photoshop surprise I didn't get to start coloring my five new strips, but I'm planning on getting to them tomorrow.

It occurs to me that I haven't told many people why I'm still in Denmark for two more weeks, after wrapping up my two weeks of teaching! My best friends Sonja (perhaps known by one or two of you as Hot German Chick from my college strip Ramblers) lives in Copenhagen and is 8 months and 3 weeks pregnant with her first child! She wanted me to be here during the last part (and, hopefully, during the actual birth), and my teaching gig had perfect timing, so I found the cheapest and closest AirBnB near Sonja and her husband Marty, and now we're just waiting. Her body is everyone's daily planner for the next couple of weeks.

Aside from the birth, I'm just here working. It's pretty ideal; I can hear everything that goes on upstairs with my hosts, and that experience is a big part of the book I'm working on, so it's been giving me allllll sorts of inspiration...

Anyway, it's past midnight and I'm pooped, so I'll leave it at that. Looking forward to making a cute daily drawing every morning at this adorable little desk, and sharing them with you! <3
