Miranda's super into danger.

I think putting the pencils/inks up there will make it easier to see 'em, let me know what you think!

*EDITED TO ADD: This little arc is something I wanted to put in the book, but decided it might be irresponsible to publish something that claims you can walk out onto a train bridge as long as you give yourself 5 minutes to get off.

THAT SAID...

You know my friend Michael, the one I have figure drawing sessions with every week back home? Sometime back around 2009, when my assistant Jessi was living with me, the three of us went out for drinks at the Meck and got good and tipsy, then went for a summer night walk to the monument (the one in the first panel), where Michael told us pretty much verbatim what Nicole just said. I took zero coaxing to get out the the center of the bridge; Jessi, the smarter of the three of us, politely declined and stayed on the ground at the foot of the bridge.

I don't know how accurate Michael was, but we're both still alive after that night, and I have to admit... standing in the center of that bridge on a moonlit night was one of the most magical experiences of my life.

I think using multi-photo posts works well for this!

See, this is the kind of shit my friends and I got up to back in Dothan. Random night time train track fire pit in the middle of the woods type shit. I’m all in here.

This is the centering plot point in a play called The Trestle At Pope Lick Creek. Things I learned from that play: don't go out on train bridges. Loving these sneak peaks, though!
