I caved and decided to color every frame of Jamie and Fluffy (I think it was 26 frames? But I just copy-pasted my color layer to to use as a base for the next frame each time!). It feels so alive, even without shading!

For Art Night last night, I lazily traced over the best frame-by-frame series of still photos I could find of a cat walking, just to get used to the motions:

(It was a bit of a surprise to me that he breaks into a run at the end!)

And because I'm still devoted to #Imperfection2020, here's a failed attempt at McPedro flossing:

If I could physically floss dance, maybe it would've worked, but, alas, I can't follow these simple dance moves to make McPedro look like a successfully flossing 5-year-old.

I'm switching back to traditional daily drawings as of today, you'll see why soon!

McPedro's flossing is hilarious!

Yeah if nothing else, it's a riot to watch!

I don't know which part of the Jamie animation is more entertaining...the top half or (cough) the bottom. They're both DELIGHTFUL for different reasons.

Working from movie stills was apparently how the first natural animations were accomplished. You have a good instinct, there!
