These two might go through some revisions, but, for now, that wraps up chapter four!

Thanks for bearing with me these last two weeks; the online sale and studio tour took a lot of my energy and time. If you ordered Shepherdstown art from me, it's in the mail! If you ordered an Elephant Town page or a GWS book, they'll be in the mail by Tuesday. :)

Ralph

Chapter 4 has to be the most spectacular visual storytelling I've ever seen from you, Danielle. Would make a phenomenal animated short. Almost comes across as a film's storyboard.

Douglas Appelt

Miranda, girl, that chair looks *much* more comfier than that floor! (then again, sleeping sitting up isn't always easy, unless you're really exhausted)

Katrina Urmson

Ohhhhh. Love the colors. The “is it spooky” or... “naw, comforting” green. And now I want to know who is playing the music...

dcorsetto

Hahaha I'm glad the green read like that! I'll probably be changing it a bit later to a springier green, because yeah, I think that initial "spooky" feeling doesn't quite hit the note I was going for!

Ruth Merriam

Owwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. Hard, hard floor.

dcorsetto

And a skinny, bony girl! But at her age I remember hardly noticing discomfort, the age when you sleep on friends' shitty fifth-hand couches and squeeze hip-to-hip into the backs of old cars.

Ruth Merriam

40 years does, indeed, seem like another lifetime ago. I do so love this entire scene. It's ethereal.

Lulu Lefferts

I agree with Ralph. The detail and lighting in chapter four made my heart stop. Fantastic work!
