Hello there! I am Embryu and I've been so lucky to work for Danielle these past two months.

I’d like to introduce a project that I've been working on for a while now. I am making a webcomic called Pickled Punks, which is actually an older webcomic that I decided to completely reboot. The story follows a young girl named Charlotte, who lives in a strange town where demons and humans live in unity. Despite the town being a peaceful place, strange things keep happening due to the odd nature of the town. Meanwhile, Charlotte struggles to grow into her own person, with everyone in town always comparing her to her late brother Faust, who was an adored witch everyone in town looked up to.

The story follows a sort of “new mystery/monster every chapter” narrative, while we slowly uncover the mystery of Faust’s death. The visuals will be in a gothic, creepy style while the story itself will focus on light-hearted fun, friendship and found family. I am hoping to launch the comic some time this summer.

Thank you for reading, and thank you Danielle for giving me this opportunity to share my project :)

Cool! Have you ever heard "Loligo's Pickled Punks" by Circus Contraption? If not, it is a song about a side show exhibit of, well, a collection of odd children in formaldehyde...

Phillip Ginn

Sounds and looks like a great comic!

I'm game, hope we get alerted to when it comes out

This looks so fun, and the art looks great for the type of story! I dig the idea of consecutive, separate adventures, with a character story plot throughline. Looking forward to it!

You absolutely will! Josephine and Embryu are both planning to get their comics rolling this year. :)

I really like the art style—I'll be on the lookout for when this launches!

I hope that they'll be on a dedicated website, or at least a comic collective. Following a comic on social media can be a pain.

Very nice. I'm definitely interested in following this. Good choice of font too. I'm using Minya Nouvelle in my Salem Charter Academy project too (oh and Peter Cadaver comic strip too).

Looks good and very interesting premise. I'll make sure to follow your webcomic starting this summer
