This is Nicole! Nicole's a pro at asking "are you free" instead of "do you want to," so if you don't have plans you don't really have an excuse not to go.

Fans of Nicole's jacket, I regret to inform you that I made it up in my head and I'm not sure where you can get it, aside from the wardrobe in my mind.

Wow, talk about an ambush. Not someone I would want to stay friends witn.

Allison

That is a good jacket

Tudza

Wardrobe in my mind. This should be part of a song lyric.

Drazi

🎶I look inside my closet, hopeing I will find, that I can dress half as well, as the wardrobe in my mind 🎶

How dare she invite a friend to listen to music. That monster .

Lesley Mitchell

Invite, sure. Invitations aren't a problem. This is railroading, though. And that's not cool.

It's nice having a Nicole in one's life if your Nicole is never offended if you don't show up. (Also...have we met "that Spanish guy??")

You can buy that jacket in my childhood in the 80s, lol. Poor Miranda, I hope she's used to this friend by now!

I hypothesize she's talking about Berto and incorrectly using "Spanish" as an identifier to mean "speaks Spanish and has heritage somewhere that people speak Spanish". Danielle's characters are realistic enough that I'd not be surprised for one to make this kind of mistake (which is at best, cringe-worthy regional vernacular—in my state it's unfortunately common for people to use "Mexican" to mean "latino")

Exactly what I was thinking! I'm excited to see their paths cross...
