We were hoping to get one more figure drawing sesh in before Lucy and Erika go back home (tomorrow) (WAY TOO SOON) (someone help me kidnap them), but unfortunately our model and most of his coworkers tested positive for Covid. (Just a heads-up, he and his coworkers were all vaccinated and asymptomatic! Fun times, tell your friends.)

ANYWAY, my boyfriend Luke kindly stepped in and offered to model for us! He's a GREAT model and has all sorts of muscly things and... well, look, I could go on about his looks because I'm dating the guy so I obviously like him, but more importantly, he was accommodating and enjoys the challenge of holding wild poses for us.

We got a LOT of 30 second poses in first...

We bumped it up to one minute...

... but somehow they seemed shorter than the 30-second poses?! So we asked Luke to hold the comfy lying-down pose above for 2 minutes, and continued with that length.

Wrapped up with a few 5-minutes:

His likeness is SO hard to capture, so I'm glad I got it closer on the above drawing. :)

We did this session immediately following my favorite VERY HARD YOGA CLASS, from which we will all be recovering for the foreseeable future, so we're real tuckered out now, but Lucy and I are being accountabilibuddies and popping these up on our Patreon pages tonight for y'all, so you can hop over and see hers now!

Thanks for sharing! I'm always a bit envious of your figure drawing practice, in that way where I never make time for my own, lol.

Can I just say that the idea of the three of you getting to spend a good chunk of time hanging out in realspace puts a big smile on my face? The three of you are like Charlie's Angels. Except art tools instead of guns, and in no way sexist. And you only keep Charlie around because there's always a chance that a model will cancel and there's no way you're going to cancel a live drawing session.
