I'm sharing some of these on Instagram this week, so I'm posting them here today so you get the first look. ;)

I spent the flight home last Wednesday thinking about how excited I was to return to my tea & daily comics routine. Pretty good sign when you MISS your normal everyday routine & job!

I loved catching up with so many people in just 24 hours! "Introvert Danielle can sleep when she's home" said Extrovert Danielle.

I will never, ever forget who to write my quarterlies out to from now on. (The form for paying your WV quarterly taxes has NO INDICATION of who to write your check out to, wtf! West Virginia, get your shit together.)

Idk how you make your bed but my freshly-made bed is way easier to get into than a sloppy one! (I'm also a weirdo who wants to sleep with all the covers pulled to EXACTLY the same level, and wakes up with everything as intact as it was when I got in. So.)

Y'know, I'm just so used to sending checks for businesses in West Virginia, I've never looked for an online option to pay my state taxes! Paying our water/sewer bills in town involves a physical drop-off at Town Hall (before they close at 4:00) because they charge you a $2-3 fee to do it online. Luke and I drop off our rent checks together because we have the same landlord; we walk (he skateboards) over to Roger's house and leave our checks in an envelope under his welcome mat. So, in short: basically yes. ;)

I meant a fully made bed, with the blankets and sheet tucked, like they do at motels. YUCK! Can't stand that! At home, making the bed pretty much means just spreading the covers smooth so I can turn on the electric blanket in advance. Come summer it's anything goes!
