We've only got a few more pages to share here! It'll be available on Dave's Patreon after all the shared pages are posted here. :)

Guest strip written by Brad Guigar, drawn by me, for Dave Kellett's Drive. And here's the link again for their how-the-sausage-is-made podcast Comic Lab, which I love. :)

Here are the previous pages!

And here are the thumbnails for this page!

No touching in that last panel! I guess that was important. For comparison:

Aside from the roughed-in cityscape at the end, my thumbnails were nearly identical to the final draft, without a bunch of 2nd- and 3rd-attempt sketches added in!

Btw, sorry for posting this a day late - it completely slipped my mind yesterday. I was in Deep Clean Mode, which will be explained in this week's daily comics roundup on Friday!

Great atmosphere is good. Mix sounds right but how is the pressure?

allanfranta

Just enough to get her to go, it seems.

Tim Pendergast

What's the other 1%? Is it tar like in Superman III? :P

Miranda Schubert

Haha it's probably supposed to be 23% oxygen, since that's the norm.

Laura Kolker

I love that punchline too much

That last scene has a very "Casablanca" feel to it. I love it.

Also, I LOVE the way his ears (?) droop when they’ve been tossed out of the place, but perk up as he’s describing the restaurant. Subtle and perfect.

That kind of stuff is Maestra Corsetto's trademark, ain't it! Nuance, man, she's got it!

Ah, I'm so glad you noticed that!
