I’ve been thinking about Frea’s diary and Ophelia’s drawings lately. (I haven’t been posting these for a while I was thinking about it, but I decided the best thing was to talk with you about it.)

I really love Frea and she’s an important part of my route, but I’ve noticed the weekly posts aren’t getting much interaction. Because of that, I’m considering changing how I share her story. (Maybe I’ll post short panels sometimes.)

About Ophelia’s drawings as well… I’ve been feeling a bit unsure about sharing them.

When there’s not much reaction, it’s hard for me to tell how they’re being received, and it can feel a little confusing on my side. I just want to make sure I’m sharing things you actually enjoy.

Instead of posting on a weekly schedule, I might switch to sharing more casually only when I feel like it or when there are important moments in her story. This way it can feel more natural and also give me more space to focus on in-game visuals and development updates.

Frea and Ophelia are both still very important to me and to the world I’m building. I’m just trying to find a better balance in how I share everything.

What do you think? I’d really love to hear your thoughts.

If you feel like it's better this way, then do it. Maybe low interactions are due to the "lack of exclusivity" because it's something that is weekly and might get more hype if it's something a little bit random. However, on the other side, it's always nice to know that you'll get content each X time.

nekoda!

Also, for spoiler reasons I’m not sharing a lot of things, but if you’d like, I can also share content like this sometimes

I have/had memberships to a few patreons that have way more people and most of them also get virtually no likes or comments even if people enjoy the content. People using Patreon just rarely interact beyond reading and voting.

I think it's also depends on people. Speaking for myself, sometimes I know I can't say much, so I can often choose to say nothing at all. Plus, some of it probably also due to many of your posts being basically storytelling. By which I mean, there is no direct reason for a reader to interact, aside from leaving a bot-like reply like "Great! I like it". Just my view on the matter, but I think that's also why many Youtubers constantly ask people to engage in the comments. Brains are stupid like that, if you don't tell it to do something, it's likely to just not do anything :) To give my overal impression, I'm enjoying snippets of the lore, since it's not like I can get much of it anywhere else, while the game is in development. For Frea, I only worry a bit that the more developed this side story becomes, especially since you say you consider her story to be important, the more it feels a bit bad to gatekeep it from the players of the game down the line. Regardless of if Frea is necessary for the full experience or not. For Ophelia, I honestly don't have much opinion, but I'd say that's normal, since there wasn't much posted for her side as of yet. It does look nice from the "horny" perspective.

I forget to interact with the story! And discord!! But I do leave a heart each time I read them, because I do like them
