I felt the same at first then after they grew up I enjoyed it much better. But it's true it's an easy going drama and there's no real plot twist. In any case, I really like your reactions and I can't wait to see the rest with you.

I think for me, it comes down to the lack of any actual 'drama' currently. I think that's evident even with the way every episode has ended so far. They just kind of end suddenly, with nothing that makes me think, I absolutely need to see the next episode now to see what happens. I haven't hated any of the episodes yet, but it has been one of those shows that I could see myself just forgetting about because something more interesting is available to watch. Her being underaged doesn't help for these early episodes, but at least for now they seem to be trying to show that its a one sided crush.

This is a drama that I think performs well when you need something low stakes and low angst but with good relationship building and a heart flutter romance which is my particular favorite kind of drama. This fits in prime comfort watch territory for me. It is an arc though so the first bit of the show is just kind of helping understand and growing empathetic to the characters and setting the scene I think.
