It's funny, I would've happily kept binging if there were more episodes to this but now seeing the Chinese version has 40 episodes has me conflicted. Remembering why I haven't watched a lot of Cdramas. As good as this was, and the reviews are for the original, I'll have to give it a shot though.

I am just happy Park Dal's arc had a happy ending. LOL. She was my favorite character in this one.

Likewise. Couldn't get enough of Dal. I'm also glad they didn't do anything to the dad, no tragic car accidents or sudden health issue.

Great reaction ! This drama has become one of my favorites. I can't think of any other dramas like this one, aside from the C-drama, but i would say that Pinocchio is pretty close in terms of character dynamics and the "kinda blended family" aspect (you've probably seen it already tho, given its popularity). For a romantic and heavy emotionally story I can recommend "Rain or Shine," which I found extremely underrated, or "Clean with Passion for Now" with a lighter tone.

I really really miss Family By Choice and I am truly grateful to find you who I could watch this lovely drama with again. It's been years ago, but I wanna say thank you for reacting to this and enjoying it a lot.

I watched for the very first time not long ago, and once again I cried almost every episode. This show is a gem that every character is relatable to a certain extent, both male leads were amazing and the female lead is the perfect match to them. Not having a love triangle between them was a super W. I remeber having the same fears as you about their dad, he's such a good lovely human that makes you watch the show and expect something bad to him as plot twist. I wish they could give Dal more screentime tho, she was the MVP of the 2nd half and almost got nothing with her bae after they got together. I will definitely rewatch it again and I agree with you, this drama deserves much more hype, it was P E R F E C T. PS. Please watch something more with Jung Chaeyeon she's such a great actress
