It is amazing how quickly this show went from appearing like it was going to be some creepy, horror show, to being one massive emotional gut punch.

Discovering each character's background significantly elevates the drama. What began as a horror story has evolved into a supernatural melodrama. The relationships between the two women and between Hyunju and her mother are particularly moving. Both the older woman and Hyunju's mother instinctively shielded their loved ones, a truly heartbreaking scene.
